Definite husband material, trissie! Ds' cat once had a kidney stone and wouldn't pee. F and ds were worried. When ds got home from work, he picked him up, and I guess the cat felt so comfortable with ds, that he just let it all out. I remember ds + F being so happy the cat had peed! Even if it was all over ds.

Lol at the cat pee stories. The things we put up with.

I’ve been mowing and am dehydrated so skimmed posts but thats about all I have the energy for right now. It’s 89* in the shade (31C). Hugs. Chugging water before I shower and start cooking. Dh came home early so he could go to his dr appt, he’s there now. I’d like to be done with it all before he gets home.

Hi all. Same thing with stella. She had crystals in her bladder and was not able either. I think it is better now but kinda hard to tell.

I'm glad you got so many good things going for mom helian.

Lann a good portion of the stuff is in the greenhouse cause dad covered 2 thirds of the garden space. Potatoes-- most of them are outside but the red ones are in the extra space. Not all of it is necessary to be inside but it is. I've covered the space outside with landscape fabric to stop most of the weeds. Inside I should have but I'll just have to keep on top of the weeds it is really bad for chickweed.

I need to call my sister after work. She's better at meds than me and I don't want dad getting confused cause the neurologist changed one med for when it runs out.

I wonder if ds will walk or call in 2 minutes for a ride. It's the one warm day. Lol nope he called. Too hot for him.

still under the avalanche, but hope to get out from under sometime!
Ddog is still with us, 5 eye treatments a day, an additional med added. 4 meds, each 5+ minutes apart. 6x a day would be best, but vet says 5 is ok. 4 minimum. Eating, but not gaining any weight yet.
Mom's birthday was fabulous
But I still haven't unloaded my car or returned teh commode to the loan closet.
We have a dinner to go to on Friday - I am worried because it has become difficult to get ehr back into the car.
I have to get 3 outfits together for her to choose what she wants to wear.
Dsis 3 and dh have left to return home for a funeral at their church
Dsis2 will be ehre thru the weekend at least

City is starting a sidewalk project on one side of mother's yard - I objected but only thing I succeeded at was for them to re-route to save 2 trees - a beautiful maple planted in 1996 and a river birch planted in 1998. Both mature and have many years of life left in them.

I am off crutches - tho sometimes I feel like/ wondr if I should be still using them. Went to PT today because I feel so much weaker than before, as my level of activity has diminished dramatically. She did a number of testing evaluations, gave me soem strength exercise sheets, but told me that even tho I feel diminished from wht I consider my norm, she cannot set up a medically necessary treatment plan, because I am ahead of the norms for my age. Substantially . I guess that's good. My big nes is that I got to spend 90 minutes in teh tub last night. Boy, did my food ever feel better after that!

It’s chilly here today, Laura. Definitely doesn’t feel like May in Maryland. It is only 64 Bama. I traded my long sleeve shirt for a sweatshirt and went back to wearing jeans about a week ago. It is always good to have you here, GMA.

This is a random warm day in a bunch of chilly rainy days. Maybe the rain is done for a while but it says tomorrow is cooler again.

Gma you are extraordinary for your age. I think so anyway.

My mom just turned 77. She can still get around but it sure is work to get up and down. I had her out in the sun for a bit watching me in the garden. If it's just her and dad at home she spends all day in bed sometimes.

I need to get some fresh stuff from the store. And something cool for supper. At least that is ds request. He's melting .
