Yes I can get into the j and c. I will have to look backwards later tonight. I've been following it but not gone way back. Thanks. No use rewriting no one needs to do that.

Kitchen looks better. I've been forgetting to start the dishwasher a few times and I don't find out till I start prepping supper next night. Now I stuffed it and started it again.

Time for school run soon.

Home again. Hair is cut and styled, car is washed and gassed up, and I went to the post office. I still remember a years ago FlyLady tip that one should gas the car up when running errands, even if it's not on empty. No in-a-hurry gas stops when one is running late already!

I need to bring HOA books up to date so I can present a year-to-date report on Monday evening. I'd like to wait until Monday to work on it, but should at least finish up through April right now. I can live with it if I don't have a statement through May on Monday evening. It would be better if I could, because the seasonal expenses of the pool and water started in May.

Dh called - friends had called him about dinner out tonight and I agreed we would go so he could call back. I'm going to be tired of people because we'll see A and V tomorrow too. We haven't seen the first friends in a while - maybe not our favorites - but feel we should go. And on Sunday, I can beg off of anything involving other people, too.

Twins - Thank you for starting PWYC today.

Thank you for celebrating DD14 birthday with us. She was pleased with her birthday gifts and party.

I am in relaxed summer mode. EXCEPT for noticing the &(*#Y) refrigerator has quit working correctly again. I did the same steps that fixed the problem a few days ago, but it isn't correcting it this time. We purchased this refrigerator when we moved into this home 10 years old, so I am not going to attempt to have it repaired.
I am a s-l-o-w decision maker because I want to research each element/option. I tend to think along the lines "If it is something you use every day then get exactly what you want." But do I want to spend the time & effort to think that much about every option a refrigerator could have?

I still can't see the J and C Board - but kind thoughts sent to those who need them.

My elbow pits look rough from blood letting yesterday.

Today I went and did a deep water class then kind of doom scrolled but met with a potential client for my new LLC and sent a proposal. Really gave them a good deal as it is my first and I want them to say yes. Works out to about 45 an hour 14 hours, gas included. I was paid 100 an hour at my last one with travel also covered including hotel and flight. I am just driving about 400 miles round trip - 200 each way and teaching for 3. I was at the other one for an evening presentation and a full day presentation.

This is in my state and what they are asking is not hard so I wanted to begin to get a name.

Now time for mac and cheese.

Yes, I do know what time it is. A long day after which I crashed into a "short" nap along with HRH and we awoke hours later. He has been able to go back to sleep, but I am here. Hi.

Dd26 and I had an eventful day out. Blood draw, then a good scan report at dr's office. As far as blood markers, a couple were lower, but it was not so much that anything was prescribed for me today except an injection to encourage platelets. I do not have to go back tomorrow (yay), but 3 days next week again, yes. sigh.

Dd stayed with me through all, moral support, making cheerful faces at me during the long, rather too-impressive dressing change.

Then she asked one of the nurses for directions to the restroom, went there, and vomited as she and nurse had both started to expect she might. Nurse said, "it happens". (smile) "Transport" came and took me to the infusion floor for injection, and dd caught up with me after composing herself. It took a long time to wait for my injection this time, but we just sat quietly and chatted. Soon she was fine. Traffic was forgiving, even at a commuter hour.

The dr had actually called in advance of appt to tell us the scan results were as encouraging as she had predicted, since she herself was not going to be able to see me in person. But only HRH and I knew at first. Told dd personally, of course, and called the other children while I was at appts. I've called 3 of my 4 cousins who have been aware (note to self, must call the 4th in the a.m.)

lucylee, how does your dmother's bruising look? Hope she feels better.

blessed, I hope this is the start of a much more pain-free and optimistic time for your dmother.

Ramblin', I know these better reports about your kitchen encourage you and your sweetie!

Harriet — first, I am sooo thankful for your good results!

Dmom… still looks rough! She asked me to bring her some rx’s she had called in for refills and a grilled chicken salad.
I told her dbro is worried about drugs causing balance issues and loss of appetite. She has lost 12 pounds recently, without trying.
Also told her ds and ddil are afraid she needs someone to stay with her. She of course disagrees.
I don’t know what to do…

Kids have been here a lot. No, I haven’t figured out to have time for myself or routines or anything. Just muddling through doing what absolutely must be done.

Church is a problem. Apparently, our pastor, who said Dgd would do whatever the church did, has now decided to stay with the conference. Now how are we supposed to move forward and make a clean break if the pastor doesn’t leave the conference also?

I’m just in a mood. Going with ds to a show he’s doing tomorrow. Also MUST color hair tomorrow!
Tomorrow is another day.
