Getting a little more kitchen spiffing Conga done in these later hours caused by nap.

Have enjoyed some of the D-Day remembrances and coverage.

lucylee, I meant to thank you for reminding about Vit B12, which I need to make sure I'm not forgetting either. I am slowly whittling down all the pills I was prescribed. Thinking I might be released from potassium soon, according to bloodwork (the powdery capsules are the easiest way to take this, but they tend to begin dissolving so fast they cause difficulty swallowing).

The headscarves are pretty good, not flashy or flowy but just enough. 4 out of 6 will definitely work. Another is the color of me :| so not helpful. A yellow one looks oddly... ..yellow. The 4, in deeper colored prints, are going to be helpful. Now I need another summery ball cap. These were purchased with the end game of donation in mind, anyway, so although they seemed pricey, they were pretty much a success before they got here.

I do think taking the B-12 in the morning is helping, however slightly. I had a little, tiny bit more energy today -- although I still took a short nap this afternoon.
I did not do the three things I said were of utmost importance last night. BUT -- I did other things.
* S2S, before getting dgs something to eat.
* Termite man came, and (good news) no termites. (Bad news) He discovered that some LARGE animal has been hiding under my floor and has made itself quite at home, using insulation for nesting material, and pretty much tearing part of my ac/heat ductwork apart. Plus tearing up some of the plastic moisture barrier under the floor. Apparently there is too much moisture from condensation/etc. After he had time to file his report, the agency called and made an appt to come next week and give me an estimate on repairing moisture barrier and spraying spots that are beginning to mold. I am a little nervous about what this might cost but I told them to come on if the estimate was free.
-- Termite man suggested I fill in the very large gap between the heat/ac unit and the crawl space -- large animal had obviously bent some of the metal sheeting (?) there and made this his front door.
* Went to Tr. Supply, bought 4 bags of rock -- 2 pea rock, 2 "egg" rock
* Filled in the hole
* Had supper with DGS
* Washed dishes that have been in the sink most of the week
* Cleaned bathrooms
* Talked to dmom, who did drive herself to the beauty shop, but who still feels so weak she can't do anything much, and who has not heard from labwork and couldn't get doctor on phone. -- Maybe I can be a little more help to her next week.

It's a lot easier to do things I want/need to do when dgs' is here. However, next week, I won't have either of them overnight because DGD has a drama class each morning (this is just a fun thing that has recently been opened up to elementary and middle school kids, to complement the countywide drama club) and DGS has football each morning (except Monday and Friday). DGD has volleyball Monday evening. I don't know if that is going to be every night or not, but she is on a team with a bunch of kids we know their parents and has an excellent coach (former high school player, I'm pretty sure) who is my cousin's neighbor. Super sweet girl who has two girls of her own.

Birthday boys... I have GOT to get busy and get dgs' gift ordered. I'll mostly give him money, but I need something to unwrap.
THIRTEEN :shock: is a difficult age. HOW can he be this old???

I'm sorry Emptynester needs assisted living, but I'm glad we've heard from her. Has anyone invited her to our FB group? I sent Harmony a note the other day, but who knows if her daughter will reply and let us know how she is doing. I asked her to, and gave my email and my phone number.

(((LordM))) Hope he feels better soon -- sounds like he may look a little like my dmom right now.

Waving to ALL Y'ALL! :D Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Tomorrow is another day.
