after sleeping almost 12 hours, around the clock, I've already accomplished a fair amount! The house is so quiet - no other life here except mine. She's in the freezer, waiting for dson to be home long enough to bury her. I will ask him to go to our church's cemetery, where my dh and my father are buried , with spaces for me and my mother. There is a small space between the granite head stones that no one will be using. That is where mother wants to put her, and I agree. I'm not asking the cemetery committee for permission.

We had rain all night, and it's very cool. Tenant is probably cold - she likes it warm (equitorial Africa is her home) so I have gone to mother's house to turn on the furnace, and I'm back...

She wants a lock of her fur. Will that be tomorrow? DS comes home from a week of vacation late tonight. Then leaves for cabin early Saturday, comes back again Sunday evening.

Yes, now I can feel free to leave my house for extended periods and not worry about getting back for the dog.
She primarily ate boiled chicken thighs. I will be eating A LOT of chicken, as I would buy ahead on sale and put them in the freezer.
