Late night/early morning check-in! It's after 1:00 a.m. here.
I've s2t-shirt so if the carpenter calls me in the morning, I'll be able to get up and get dressed quickly. I also washed my hair and did a facial masque.
DGS is spending the night.
They all (ds/ddil/dgrands) went to Big City and had supper and ice cream at a couple places they saw last week when looking for a dishwasher. (They did not invite me, but honestly, I don't mind. I figure they need some time on their own. I ate frozen lasagna and had some ice cream here at home. Much cheaper. I have been giving ds $20 or so when we are all eating out at most places. Sometimes I pay for everyone if we're at a fast food place, but it's pretty expensive to feed five people, and I am spending a lot more on food for these kids with someone spending the night usually every night.)
We had that uncomfortable vote at church this morning. More in J&C.
After church dgs and I ate a local chicken place, then I took him home. DDIL had told him and dgd they needed to straighten up the house before ds got home from the church where he was playing this morning.
I came home and took a long nap, got the garbage to the road, ate my supper, and then went to pick up dgs for the night. We drove up to the cemetery to check the flowers on dh's grave. I still kinda wish I had gotten a bigger stone, but dgs told me he didn't know why I was obsessed with this, that I should know that dh would have wanted me to save money if I could.
Father's Day is kinda sad with ds being the only "father" in our family now. As you all know, my relationship with my dad was kinda difficult sometimes, but it's sad that he and dh aren't with us anymore. I also miss dh's dad -- he was a really great father to dh, and he treated me like his own from the first time he met me. I miss my grandfathers too. But I've been okay today. Since dh wasn't big on celebrating Father's Day, it's not a huge thing for me.
Tomorrow, I am going to try very hard to hit the ground running. New routine plan

is to try my very best to get as much done on Mondays (laundry and WHB) as possible. It should be much easier to manage things with DGS here, rather than DGD, and maybe I can get her to wait till supper time to come over.
Tuesday, dmom has an appointment for a check-up with her pulmonologist. I don't think I have anything else on the calendar for this week.
Waving to ALL. Hope you all have a great day to start the week.
