Back again. I got the outside potatoes mostly weeded. Pretty good till it's time to weed them in a few weeks . Found a few rows of potatoes inside the greenhouse. Hopefully the carrots get a bit bigger before next time. I need to see them before I can do it

I also dug up my tomato and pepper plants and need to get up and finish that. Something ate the whole plants but most of them look like they might restart if I baby tjem a bit. So I brought them home.

Dad was pretty tired today. Thankful he had a friend over when I got thete. But mom had a really rough morning. She just has no control anymore. I don't think she's feeling the best and sometimes I wish there was a bit better way to do it. Dad ended up getting takeout for lunch again. It's cause he's tired and hard to come to with what to make. But she might do better with less of that. It's so hard to watch it all happen.

I did have a nice visit with my nephew that just graduated. And ddil came to get the mail. They're coming for supper and do laundry tonight.

I better get a move on. Made a dirt mess in the car with the plants. I might have to bring the whole thing inside cause I heard thunder again.

Hello, everyone!

Just a very quick CI to say that Matilda is back home again, minus 10 teeth! (One canine, her remaining 2 molars, one pre molar and 6 incisors). I'm not sure what medication she's been given, but she's been tearing round the house, wanting to play! She's had her anti inflammatory this evening , and is supposed to be on soft food for the next few days.

Her discharge notes said it had been "pleasure" to treat her. This is quite a novelty for me, as I'm used to a long list of Freddie's offenses. However, I gather everyone at the vets was very taken with Matilda, and she is a very personable little cat.

I between cat duties Iive managed to clean the kitchen. I also had a good session in my garden this evening, and then .went for a long walk through the valley park.

Yay for Matilda behaving and now she can start mending and eating again.

Laura, I’m sorry you have to go through this. It’s not easy but your parents appreciate all you do for them.

I did the last list plus
Put together one wire storage rack and added wheels
Tidied the kitchen
Walked the dogs
Watered some porch plants that were drooping and filled the outside water bowl
We lost another chicken so dh buried her, now we have one rooster and one turkey left. Dh set traps to try and catch the culprit and I walked the dogs around the chicken yard to mark it with their scent and maybe deter wildlife.
