LadyM he digs a very shallow trench and scatters the seeds along and then loosely covers them with dirt and waters them. He's out there every day watching over all of his raised gardens. The only things in the ground here are trees, bushes, flowers and blackberry bush, grape vines and raspberry bush.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

It's already Wednesday for most of us, but I wanted to check in and let y'all know I am still hanging in here.

Having a day to myself, childfree, was not really good for me -- I stayed in bed almost all day. The last couple days, I just wake up with a bit of nervousness, anxiety. If the dgrands are here, I don't have time to think about it and I have to just get up and get going. Today, after staying awake till daylight, watching a Madea movie, I just took advantage of time to catch up on sleep. Had a quick phone call from ddil and then a LONG phone call with a Dcousin, and totally enjoyed talking to her. Finally, during our conversation, I did get up, start some laundry, and finish dusting the kitchen and dining room. WHB and ZONE work. After we finally got off the phone, I did s2s, finish the laundry, and went to town for the mail and supper.
Back home, I talked to my dmom (her PT wasn't getting her to answer the phone), put away the laundry, and spent way too much time scrolling on my phone, watching TV without really paying around attention to what was on. I did wrap dgs' birthday present.
Somehow, the thought of him turning 13 sorta makes me sad and nervous, too. I know it is going to be wonderful to watch him getting more mature, seeing what he becomes, but then it just terrifies me to think about him starting college in just five years! The time is just passing too fast. And of course, I just start crying every time I think of the fact that dh isn't here to see it with me.

Tomorrow DGS will be here for the afternoon while DGD has an appt with the eye doctor. She will probably spend the night with me.

I will need to run some errands -- Wmart, drug store, bank. I also want to finish WHB dusting. That is my Plan. Dust this week, vacuum next week.

Cathy, that's great that your dh is enjoying the gardening.

Harriet, I'm glad things went well with HRH's doctor's appointment.

I'm thinking dgs and I may make a stop at Sonic tomorrow, LadyM. "Happy Hour" makes quite a difference, doesn't it? And drinks are usually such an extra expense to the cost of a meal. Tonight (at another restaurant drive-thru) I got a large sweet tea with my supper, (BBQ stuffed potato) and it was sooo disappointing. I'm pretty sure it was UNsweet and it had NO ICE at all in it. I poured it out before I came in the house. SMH.

LadyM, what kind of inserts are you using in your shoes?

Twins, I do not envy you the confusing temple financial statements! Do you know my bank statement is STILL approx. $400 ahead of what I have in my checkbook register??? And I have called and talked to someone in bookkeeping and they could not find any extra deposits to make that difference, either. I have checked and rechecked all the way back to January when it balanced perfectly, and NOTHING shows an error like this. I'm going to keep up with it for six months and I guess after that I am going to add $400/whatever it is then to my own total and forget about it. (It's not EXACTLY $400, but it has been fairly consistent. $440 for several months, and then something like $420 last month.

Glad you had a good time at the convention, Mystery!

My dil's dmom is serving on jury duty this week. She was kinda excited about it. I have always managed to get out of serving the three or four times I have been called. The idea of being on a jury makes me really nervous (I know... y'all are saying, EVERYTHING makes Lucy nervous.)

Blessed, I am so glad things went well with the caregiver agency, and glad to hear your dmom had a good day.

This is as far back as I can scroll and I've got to start settling down. It's almost 2:30 a.m. here. Of course, I guess some of the ladies in Fun and Games are just now getting started. :lol: I plan to have a more productive day tomorrow. I am trying to teach myself that my day goes so much better and I feel 100% better all day if I follow a few simple rules:
* S2S and Bible reading FIRST THING.
* Take B-12 supplement.
* Start something productive.
* Exercise, even for only 5 minutes, is worthwhile. (Usually, if I can do 5 minutes, I can keep it up for at least 15 minutes.)
* Remember that the phone should be a REWARD for some task well-done.
Today, I didn't follow ANY of these "rules" until after 3:00 p.m. :cry:

BUT... tomorrow IS another day! :D
Tomorrow is another day.
