Good morning
I am checking off the SHE cards one by one this morning. I get a dopamine hit
(giving pleasure & reward) with each completion. It was time to refill my monthly AM/PM vitamin containers which is boring & takes time, so I played the YTube recording of this morning news conference while accomplishing that boring but necessary task.
DH slept 3 hours longer than normal last night. I kept checking on him all during the night & this morning and each time he was sleeping so good. When he finally woke up he was back to "normal". I asked if he knew what year it is and he answered correctly without hesitation. I asked if he could name our 6 grandchildren and he immediately gave their names. He remembers yesterday so he has regained the ability to make new memories. ***Big Sigh of relief**
I have several things that were paused during the last 36 hours so will be restarting them and getting the plates spinning again.
Food is such a constant necessity and I seem to be barely able to keep up. I had DS16 take the 2 teens (GF and DD14) out to eat twice yesterday because I didn't have the bandwidth. When DH and I left the hospital after 8:30pm last night we hadn't eaten since breakfast. On the hour drive home we had a choice of Dollar Store or stopping at a gas station/convenience store to get something to eat. We tried but didn't find anything worth eating (IMHO). We could have driven more miles and found a fast food place open but neither one of us was the slightest bit interested in doing that. We came home and at 10pm I made multiple cheese quesadillas which were super easy and filling. That took care of yesterday's food.....but it is a new day with new food needs, so the constant food necessity continues.
It's nice to have one's work praised, even by a 9-year-old.
I agree!
