Things that need to happen at home before DH retires!
Reorganise office (DH wants a new to him desk that work is getting rid of. Can I empty the tallboy and move it into the bedroom? Remember to measure at its widest point to see if it will fit!
More decluttering in bedroom - drawers under the bed, my clothes (a continuous process!)
Kitchen - measure for fridge, measure where bins are going to go. Order new fridge. Move freezer to where current fridge is now? Go through cubby hole which houses miscellaneous "stuff", including the surplus from my dolls house project (this is on a pause now until the winter, but I have all the pieces I need, ... and a lot of surplus!
Get it all out and divide into lots. WIP
Do I have enough boxes and bubble wrap? I think so
Clean everything so it looks its best and photograph.
Write description and list on eBay. Remember to state we are a smoke free home.I can do most of this this one box at a time, so it isn't overwhelming .
Once the boxes are sealed and wrapped and labelled with the contents, I can store them in the garage.
Decide what is going back in cubby hole - gardening trug? Extension cable, spare boxes of cat food? Will my folding chair fit? Yes

Well I'm trying to motivate myself. Church was good. Dh decided we should take out the turkey and have it for supper. Not sure yet if the kids are coming but it's ok we'll freeze leftovers for easy meals. It's in the grill at the moment and I should get up and fix the kitchen. Dog will want a walk but I wonder if he would let me have a rest day. I doubt it.

It's been a full day. I'll tell you more about it at a later day - I am going to bed early/ soon.
Two best things about the day :D
One of my dear girlfriends from HS was lost to out class. I found her through the internet, sent her a letter on behalf of the class, as we have (can you believe it?!) 60 year reunion of high school graduation coming in Sept. She replied via email today, with her telephone number. So I called her and we had a lovely chat!
Other best thing was a wonderful church service! We did not use the liturgical music, but had hymns instead for every part of the service. Church was longer than usual, but nobody seemed to mind, as all enjoyed the hymns. I think they were all in the "these are my favorites" box that is used by the hymn selection committee.
