well rainy weather is the best for sleeping, so you gotta be patient with a fella who's snoring on the kitchen table, kittykatt!
Dogged, could you listen to the radio in maybe a phone app while outside? I'd say with it being November, it's priority to enjoy the sun because soon it won't be there!

5:45 and we got home like 10 minutes ago. I was home, for 10 minutes, earlier, flipped laundry to dryer, delivered yesterday's ironed laundry, and then left to get DBD and drive her for her speech therapy apt, but it sure has been a long day and it's nowhere close to being the end of it! Taking a couple minutes to relax and drink a cup of tea before the madness begins again.

Trissie, it amazes me how much people got done without all of the tools we have and how little progress seems to move along now. I’m sure Benjamin would be flattered to know we are reading about him today.
I’m still on morning madness while you’ve completed most of your day as you work on the evening madness of routines. That never gets old to me. I’m so thankful for the world view here on the boards.

Kittykatt, hope the wardrobe is an easy tada. You could make YouTube videos of Freddie on his daily walks. It’s rare to see a cat on a leash here and it would be enjoyable as well as relaxing for people who avoid the bad side of the internet. I didn’t know silent fireworks exists.

Helia, good thoughts for baby I and family, it would be so much easier for them to begin their new life without all the travel to see each other.

Doggedly, hope you are enjoying the sunshine and all of it’s benefits. I read Budget Day and thought that it was aimed toward individuals and thought how nice, everyone stays so organized that they do their budgets together until I realized it’s the country’s budget.

Helian, what very good news about Baby I - her parents must be so relieved, as I'm sure you are.

Dogged, I'm currently psyching myself up to tackle the top of that wardrobe. I keep telling myself it would be good to have all the potential gifts for the shoebox for the Y in one place, and with DH being out it's a good opportunity to declutter anything were really never going to use, as well as organise what we *are* going to use!

Bama, every now and again I take a short video of Freddie walking, mainly so his vet can see the improve of his hip mobility with the Solensia. (Fred has two speeds at the vet - refusing to come out of his carrier or launching himself at people ) Here's the latest one, which was taken back in the summer (hence the sun!) but uploaded it just now. There's no fancy background music or anything, as it was just designed for the vet to watch him!

Hi, Peaches!

DH has left for his choral society, and I'm sitting in my chair enjoying the clean sitting room. This is one room I am happy with, as there is nowhere to store excess stuff ... so we don't tend to have any! (You can't leave a pile of papers out, as Matilda would quickly ensure they were no longer a pile! ) Next job is to tackle the top of my wardrobe.

I put a lentil soup recipe on our weekly menu this week, L Ann, but it's made with coconut milk and curry paste. It's a recipe I got from S2. And actually, I will move it to next week bc dh is eating dinner with dd30 that evening, so I'll be on my own, meaning I won't really cook.
Freddie walks really well on a leash, Kitty! I had forgotten that he was black and white, and was picturing him as orange, maybe bc Kingsley, my son's male cat, is orange. Matilda is orange, right? Jude is black too?
