I have one dog on a leash next to me bc she is going crazy. Dd younger took her dog out - after playing with both our dogs for an hour they are not happy. Whining and high pitched barking - lets say she isn't happy

I sent an idea to dd's re cousin day -at least for girl cousins - line dancing near us.
it might be fun?!~ 8-)

my cards are pulled, mom is sleeping, so is helper - (mom was up all night talking)
before I do anything _ I bought 4 cheap christmas aprons for dd's and I(gingerbread) (mom is a mrs. Claus) from hobby L. I am going to put them away before I do anything - hopefully using them for Saturday - possible gingerbread house decorating/making cookie dough for freezer.

dd younger asked me to go with for her vet appointment with her dog - she is really worried that he needs surgery on his knee

I started a post right after Harriet posted and it's still sitting downstairs.

Since then, I checked in with trainer/owner of gym and he would rather I not come in with a cold today. Most of their people are older, some even frail. Then as I was adding to my earlier post, I realized it was past time for my Zoom meeting with the mentee, so I dashed upstairs and got online and we met. So here I am finally. No workout this afternoon. I'll start chili for our supper later.

This really has not been a productive day but I can live with it.

Do you have an hour blocked off for certain jobs/tasks?
I don't block hours similar to time blocking. I started by recording which cards I did in each hour. I didn't push myself (except for that first hour of the day that is so busy) but I wanted to have realistic information what I could do without stressing myself.
Once that information was capture then I started following it and adjusting. Cards were moved from hours that were too full and put in hours that were light.
I know 2 times a day I am delivering/retrieving DD14 from school. That takes about 30 minutes out of each of those hours so the amount of cards that I can realistic can do is reduced. I know the 3 homeschool hours are going to be light in other type of tasks that I can do.
I make sure there are times to take AHHHhhhh breaks.
I’m naturally a morning person, full of energy and ready to get up and go. I don’t like to sit still for long. But when the sun sets, my energy fades, and I’m ready to kick back and relax.
There are a lot of factors that go into the decision of assigning tasks to a specific hour.
This hourly pathway method only covers the daily cards. I use a different method to track the weekly, monthly, yearly, and seasonal cards.

I have had my lunch & gotten a call from Dgd and she said she would be here in a couple of hours.
So that catapulted my thinking into getting the main part of the house picked up and books put away.
Because it had that well lived in look ! LOL
So I got the counters spiffed and the table shaped up.
Most of the books journals etc. got a pupa but I have one stack of a few books still to deal with.
Amazing what can happen when it's more urgent!

FYI....the northern lights are showing up and showing off tonight
The coronal mass should reach Earth this afternoon.
This means your best shot to view the Northern Lights will be shortly after sunset (6-9 PM). Farther north you are the better.

I am so out of what shows are available to watch. I just found Top Chef which in its 16th season and about to leave NetF.

Want to let you know I’m alive. Been sick with what Twins has since Saturday. Terrible sore throat, cough, headache, but no fever.

What ever this virus is it really going around. I know 6 people who have the same symptoms and virtually live all around the county.

Schools are full of it and my DGD missed an entire week of school last week.

(((Rose))) Dgd is staying home tomorrow and dgs doesn’t feel well either. I’ve got a feeling I’ll be going to church alone tonight.

I did see the Northern Lights last night and I’ll be watching tonight too! Not super-bright here but I could see them with naked eyes.
I wonder why they show up better in a photo. ?

Dgd went with me to get my mammogram, then she and I ate a late lunch. She’s painting with watercolors now and dgs is asleep on the couch. Ddil will be here soon to take them home. Then I’ll get Dgd back after church.
Tomorrow is another day.

Ramblin', thank you for posting and letting us know. Get Well Soon! When I teased about all the snow flurries the other day and whether even you were getting them, I was thinking we hadn't heard from you in a while. (even lucylee got flurries!) I used the word micro in a post this a.m. and also thought of your household.

Twins' Mom, I hope you feel better, too! Thought I'd already said that but don't see it.

blessed, thinking of your ((ddyounger)) as well.

It has upset my whole day to hear from that hospital nurse and have her tell me something different after I've gone WAY out of my way to spend a week eating the way this practice (all their doctors - 4 or 5) want me to... .. I think. HRH insisted I call the doctor's office after that and the nurse there said that someone in her family just had the procedure and wasn't told to eat in the way her practice says at all. I had a small meal just now that didn't satisfy, but I don't think I'll eat again today since I'm still so confused about the "shoulds" and "oughts" (they literally use the word "should" several times on the paper - these are not suggestions). Tomorrow will be lime jello and apple juice with maybe some broth just in case I really feel weak or something.

Ds called and he loves the gutter leaf-clearer. Said his whole house was done in 10 minutes, although cleaning himself up took considerably longer, lol. (Raining leaves.) He said how much faster and easier than toting a ladder 'round the house.

He said don't decorate the tree without giving dgdC the chance to come and help.

I swiffered the living room and most of HRH's office. More organizing.

hi d Nancy have fun with d grand daughter

hi d twins so glad to see you!

hi d Lucy I was asking dd younger why the the colors show up so much brighter than the naked eye. didn't get an answer ;)
glad you went to the mammogram - good for you for getting it done! enjoy church tonight!

vet took longer bc they needed to lightly sedate him for x rays - good news - he doesn't have hip dysplasia- he is having problems but the x rays are hopeful- he will have to rest another two weeks which is hard for him (Malinois) hoping that the rest and pt will help him.

mom is uncomfortably sleeping. I will wake her up in two hours and change her. hopefully she will sleep tonight.

got my white elephants in. family loved it. it's a cover for luggage with my 4 brother in laws faces on it. I think it will be funny.
I am tired but I have a lot to do before the men come over to look at addition area to be done.

hello d harriet
dd younger was a nervous wreck but I think right now she is feeling better - so far no immediate surgery. thank you!
of course it's upsetting! it makes one feel like the office is out of sync. your diet is very hard right now. I still wonder why you have to eat like this. Praying that it all works out for you to be able to eat like you are used to!
glad you ds loves his new gutter cleaner!
how sweet- about the dgdC wanting to help! Every year all the grandkids/and the girls (adults) helped d mom in law decorate her tree and house. so fun!
yay on your work!
it is always a joy to be here with you!
