You have done plenty on the housework front, and that has to be done before Christmas, so plenty of progress, Kittykatt.
Hi, Peaches
I have flipped the laundry. As I suspected, Germane has taken herself off to the bathroom to sleep and declines any further outings.
--oh, I meant to mention: my accidental homemade ketchup is good on French fries, but also surprisingly good on fish. So it has been promoted to "fish sauce."
It got colder every time I went outside. The wind was terrible.

Fed pup. Brushed her. Did obedience work. Flipped last load of the day. I did the last drop off, (DD and DGD) , took pup out for her "business".
Made some tea. Off to warm up in a hot bath with my book.
Have a good night everyone. Thanks for the good company See you tomorrow.
Oh my - what a day. The extra work meeting, taking the bus, and dropping off and picking up the car all ate up some time today. Then, I joined dh on a zoom call with ds this evening. SO many things did not get done.
Tomorrow afternoon will be scheduled with the KS2J get together and then my weekly work out with AS. BUT I will have my morning free.
trissie, this was just the biennial (I think - dh has the schedule; 2 new tires every 2 years?) trip to the tire store to get new tires. The car is generally fine.
Sorry I was out so much of the day. Maybe I'll see more of you tomorrow, kitkat.
WTG getting your walk in anyway, L Ann. Agree - wind is the worst.
I will have to read about your accidental homemade ketchup, Doggedly. You always have something intriguingly interesting going on!
Hi Peaches! Kitty, Australian rules football sounds familiar to me too. I think when we lived there, they called it "footy" for short. Progress is progress!!
Soccer v. Football: A Spanish speaking student from S. America closed the discussion by explaining that in Spanish, there's "American football" and "futbol" and that "futbol" is pronounced differently from "football" (including stress on 2nd syllable instead of the first - we're training our students well!) SO in Spanish, there's not an issue. This is a perk of my job!
Today/ this evening has been focused on going through all the mail from being gone 10 days. Birthday cards, Christmas cards, sympathy cards. I have 8 acknowledgements to write. Tomorrow I will get info from the college re: those who have sent $ there. I hope we already know, and have sent cards.
Drain cleaning out people are coming to mother's early in the morning for a sluggish shower drain, so I am going to sleep there.
Tuesday will begin with that, then stop at broker's to sign some papers on the way to
half hour college orchestra Christmas music late morning
Afternoon: Wrap packages for 3 people and maybe get them in the mail, or more likely ready to go to PO the next day.
Warmer, but precipitation, in forecast - I might go pick out a Christmas tree.
Senior day at 2 grocery stores, so I need to tend to that as well. Small list.
