I still have symptoms, Lauralind, numbness in toes and balls of my feet. It could still be a syndrome/ disease, but it's not related to the large nerves - which, from what I understand, could be more serious. I stopped running on my own to see what would happen, and what happened was the numbness lessened. The doctors never told me to stop running. In fact, at my check up last week, the Dr. told me to start running again, even with numb toes. LOL!

Oh that's really weird helian. But I guess it's good to know you can still run. Hopefully they can figure something out yet.

Shower done. Gonna chat with dd in a bit. Play it by ear a bit ds is not up yet. I'll stir him again in a bit. Then see how he is.

Happy what's the day again? Wednesday, right!
Never made it here yesterday, but had been to work, we have skis for every member of the family (DH and I own the downhill skis, but we rent the cross country one; kids have to rent both sets), and I was up till 1am making the no-bake cookies (coconut balls, chocolate salami and another batch of beehive cookies) so I am dead on my feet today. No rest for the wicked and all that jazz, though!
Stayed late at work today to finish something - tomorrow is my last in-office day till Jan5! But I will be working from home both Friday and Monday. I was hoping to be off already, but I am short on vacation days and have way to much stuff to do. Christmas mood will have to wait till Tuesday!

kittykatt, I never made white Christmas cookies, but apparently, there are rather few holiday meals beginning with "w"!
gma, those cranberrry-orange breads sound very nice! How do you usually eat them, with jam?
Bama, do you ready cooking magazines / browse recipes online? Maybe that's how you picked up knowing "sultana"!

what did you get for dgs, lauralind? shopping for the babies is the best, they don't have opinions and if they do, they don't voice them, unlike teens!

Dgs is getting a duplo block set and a fuzzy brown teddy bear so far. I might get something else for him yet. I'm completely drawn a blank for the rest yet tho.

My morning got a little easier. Ds is still in bed. H is picking me up now for the cookie party and we'll get together after. So I cleaned and mopped the floors . I will get mom. Then see what else I get to.

Helia, from what I understand, neuropathy is pretty common? Not sure. Follow your gut instinct.

I took in a deep nap and woke not rested so just been piddling around. Need to get serious now. Thought I posted my list on today but I guess not. Off to recover and tackle it.

Hello, all. It's not going to be a very productive day for me today, as I haven't really started yet at 3:00 pm and need to leave between six and six thirty for a Christmas concert. In between, I have to wrestle my Inner Brat into the shower. Ah, first world problems; our favourite problems, because if that's what you got, life ain't too bad, LOL.

Thank you for starting us off, trissie. I think that it was clever of the Australians to name a dessert White Christmas, so that when their children start asking about nostalgic Christmas rituals that have nothing to do with the way that they live, they can offer the dessert and make their own memories.

LOL, Kittykatt, Germane snubbed the same duck and pea food this morning, but came back ten minutes later and ate it. Neither of us are morning people.
WTG on making good use of the sunshine yesterday. Can you believe that we have rain here too? After all of the cold that we had, I'll take it, but I am concerned about it turning the snow around my car into ice jail.

I'm sure that many people will appreciate your baking, Gma.

You have a point about essential tremors, Bama. I think that most people would pass on them and pack extra underwear and sunscreen.
