Good morning, all. My big goal for today is to get Germane to the groomer for her appointment later this afternoon.

I will CUOP as I go along. For now, I'm finishing with last week's goals and I will set up my new Procrastaccomplishments list for the week.

Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt. Don't marigolds smell bad? or is that nasturtiums? I can't picture putting something that smells like that on my plate. But, again, I might have them confused with nasturtiums.

I enjoyed the movie, Bama. I particularly enjoyed the humour. That said, people have put it on such a pedestal that I don't think any movie could live up to their hype. For me, it was just an enjoyable movie.
The noise is not bothering your DH because he is not affected by it. If you bring two pot lids with you and announce the fact that you have been woken by the noise by clanging them together, might that affect your DH? NB: Don't take marital advice from people who have never been married, LOL. I hope that the vacation is fun, despite the sleeping issues.

Woo hoo for a free calendar day after your very busy day yesterday, helia.

Lauralind, a lot of men seem to have an issue with food that between solid and liquid. Remember "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche?" I can picture how the thick squash soup might have set your dh off. Though it sounds delicious to us.

trissie, I have heard that once your children have grown up and moved out, it is theoretically possible to get to the bottom of the laundry pile, though I have never experienced this myself, LOL.

Gave Germane her breakfast–hurray! She will eat her food, as long as it is topped by Go! Shredded Turkey. We have a working strategy.
Germane used pee pads twice more, coming back to collect her treat each time.
The last time, Germane decided that she no longer eats Go! Shredded Turkey. At this point, I think that she has had enough to eat, and is just begging for food out of habit.
