The bird feeder was hopping today, kittykatt. 26 times the camera recorded and some of them have multiple birds. .. a dark eyed junco and a red bellied woodpecker stopped by for the first time.

Let’s see if I can update my lists.

I've been locked out several times, with the screen indicating that there are too many people using the boards at this time.
So I'll try to be quick, and haven't taken time to read any posts for fear of being locked out again.
I checkd the old sheforums and my computer said it does not exist.

We are in a deep freeze here, with only a little snow but with cold and much wind.
I got 2 packeages and 2 cards sent off in the mail today.
Visited dfBS, tried to call the lady for whom I provided a ride, etc yesterday for 8 hours. Left a message, she called back, left a message, I returned call, left a message. "tag- your it!" I don't want to get too involved in this family, there are too many needs, and not enough support network.
Our good pizza place is closing on Sunday; DS is leaving in the morning to go ice fishing, so I asked him if we could share a pizza tonight. His wife won't be home until 9, so we got extra for her "to go" for take out.
Tomorrow will be even colde,r, I might jsut hunker in and not go anywhere, if possible.

kittykatt, I did see the forget-me-not entry early this morning. It was one of my mother's favorite flowers. Her birthday was late May. Her mother often decorated her birthday cake with those flowers growing in her parents' flower garden. I think they are a beautiful flower. I have some seeds - just might try to start some this spring
Now I'll try to post this and see what happens.
I have mroe cleaning to do, and need to start thinking about my trip to Florida, where it will be about 50 degrees warmer than here. I need to find some clothes to wear - and try thm on, since I ahve gained weight (that I don't want, but haven't been able to focus on diet, exercise, and weight loss.

Oh, wow. I can get in! I've been locked out most of the day. I couldn't get in around 5:30 pm, at which point I just stopped and decided to wait until after dinner. I've been getting a message saying the old SHE boards can't be found on this server. . . . Maybe they've finally been taken down?

Sounds like a busy day at the bird feeder, L Ann. I've noticed that the birds come to ours in waves; a group of about 10 - 15 or so birds will all be feeding at the same time -- taking seeds and then flying off to the tree next to the feeder and eating and then heading back to the feeder for more. They'll repeat this several times and then move on. A little bit later, another group of birds will stop by. Or maybe a single woodpecker or a nuthatch. M has seen blue jays at the feeder, but I have not. That said, I didn't see any birds today - at all. Either other feeders in the neighborhood have tastier seed or they're waiting out the cold.
When are you going to Florida, Gma?! Sounds like a perfect trip in the middle of MN winter!

This was not a productive day for me - but I'm also loving this laid back schedule. I stayed home all day. I am still sore from my work out yesterday (and swimming on Wednesday), so I decided not to jog - though, maybe that would have helped. I did catch up on a bunch of emails, folded sheets, and updated the exam record for payroll. I ordered flowers for my mom's cousin's funeral. I also finished watching Seven Dials (Agatha Christie) on Netflix.It was a fun watch - but took too much time; I started it yesterday. Dh and I went out to eat at a nearby bbq joint for dinner.

I still need to record the food I ate today and do some duolingo. Then, I think I'll head to bed.

Hi, helia, that's the same message I got. I thought the same thing. And yes, I was not able to get in, just liek you, all day.
Leaving Jan 24, returning 31. I'll miss everyone. Not taking my computer with. Might look in with my phone, but it doesn't post very well. My cousins will keep me active. And I am looking forward to 50 degrees warmer than here!
