Heads Up next mo. some time they are working on the power lines cable etc. on the loop in the next block.
I may be with out power / cable so if I don't show up that will be why.
I am hoping that it does not effect me fingers crossed.

Learned that on my walk. 55* feels like 49* with 7 mph. wind.
Some power poles like three will be replaced.

Had lunch and a 20 min. or less of a nap but it helped.

Full moon is messing with my bs today. dang!
Got some editing done.

During one of DS17’s phone calls, I mentioned that the ’89 pickup wouldn’t start. He said, “I’ll take care of it.” I told him it wasn’t his problem to solve, but he insisted. After work, he came home, jump-started it, and is now planning to drive it to recharge the battery. If it were up to me, I’d get rid of this pickup because no one is driving it. I don't have much emotion tied to it. But according to DH and DS17, the 89 is their favorite and there is no reason they would get rid of it.
Plan B - the battery is shot so DS17 is on his way to get a replacement.

I had a ham that needed to be sliced. I got everything set up and DH was able to slice it. Now it is in the freezer in meal size portions. My future self will be pleased how easy it will be to grab, thaw and serve.

Okay. Pickup is taken care of.

Moving on to next focus. Got items picked out for Sunday baby shower and they will be included in tomorrow curbside order. Procrastinate much? Nahh... I was trying to think of something creative to get these young parents. I couldn't come up with anything creative, so I went with the normal baby gift items. Clothes, diapers, wipes. Boring but necessary.

DH is doing dishes. This makes me happy for multiple reasons. yes, I do appreciate having clean dishes, but I REALLY appreciate DH being mentally back to normal enough to accomplish this. He continues to improve mentally hour by hour.

Moving on to next focus - get pikepass ordered for new pickup. I forgot about the need to do this. Platepay notices are starting to show up in our mailbox. It is multiple times more expensive than having a pikepass. Oops.
That done. Pikepass ordered. Platepay charges paid in full.

next up - Fill out Feb monthly calendar in paper planner.

I s/s the bathrooms and went to the post office before going to pick up dmom and attend a funeral for a friend from our old church, 89-yr-old man.
After the funeral, Dgd and I ate at Subway and we’re settled in for the night now.
We put out rat poison before we came inside, and I washed dishes.

The scholars’ bowl match is still on, but ddil does not want Dgd to go. They have to leave around 7:00 am, and the match may last till 5:00 pm! That is a long time to sit still and be quiet so I told dgs I will be praying for him to do well, and Dgd and I will be happy to stay snug in bed in the morning.
Tomorrow is another day.

Catherine O'Hara died today after a short illness. I was a fan from the very early days of SCTV. She was so funny,

I went to Fibre Friday. Another week with a very small group.

I was looking for something and found a $50 bill. Therefore I suggested Chinese food for supper. Dh was delighted.

Hope it's no big deal, Nancy! Maybe they can finish fast.

Smiled at the old movie. Did he give the population of the U.S. in '41 in his song, or am I misinterpreting?

We've literally heard from Ariver that we cannot expect deliveries through the upcoming snow and will have next possible delivery on Thursday. (They were informing us that our tv remote has communicated to them that it will need batteries soon.) That's fine - good to know, although we don't have any to order from them. It makes me think, though - maybe I'd better postpone ordering from fabric stores for a while. I certainly don't want a delivery (as we have had before) of leaning a package up against the mailbox post in the snow when it's fabric inside.

Well, surprised to come back and find this didn't post. Will CUOP now.
