It's been another satisfying day, despite the rain. I did pick up a few leaves in my front garden, and took Fred for his walk when the rain eased, before giving downstairs a good clean. DH left early for his choral society -something to do with the seating plan for the upcoming concert - so I've cleaned out 2 shelves in the tall kitchen cupboard and decluttered some more box files upstairs.

Cut up the crust into croutons and pressed them into the top of the casserole
Got a bandaid for my finger
Cut up cheese for casserole, paying better attention
Poured on some parmesan
Put casserole in oven
Looked up how long to leave it
Spiffed self
Wrestled off bandaid and put on a coat of liquid bandage

Found the mat that I’ve been looking for. Found a couple of bags that I am very much looking forward to going through.
Wiped down the bathroom floor
Reapplied the liquid bandage
Put away dry laundry
Put away big drying rack. Yay! Real estate reclaimed. For a couple of days, at least.

It has been a full day. Out of the house at 8:25, WW, KS2J get together, haircut home again at 1:30. Out again at 2:30-->Dr. appt. and then grocery store. Put away the groceries, and it was 5:30. I've relaxed for 25 minutes and now I need to go fetch firewood and then get dinner going. . . . Tomorrow will also be fairly scheduled (gym work out, coffee with AA, and then hosting dinner guests) - but not quite like today.

Glad I get an evening off! It's my last one for a while as I have events the next 5 evenings (W - Sun.).

Kittykatt, no worries. I love toads, we used to have one on our porch that ate up all the bugs, we made him a toad house out of an old pot. It’s just some swallow trigger, I can’t eat at restaurants with fish tanks or any eyeballs staring from my plate lol.

Dd2 was in an accident so is shaken up, it has been raining there all day, someone bumped her car and sent her down a hill into a small tree, deployed the airbag so she couldn’t see, she’s fine just bruised and shaken up, talked awhile on the phone. Whew.
