I'm always enthusiastic in my head about getting gardening/outside plants, etc. going but usually fail to follow through and do it later than I really should here. I was going to jump ahead with ferns for the front porch, but have reconsidered since this cold snap. Also pertinent: I'll be gone next week and can't watch out for them.
Salon called to let me thoughtfully know that d hairdresser was running late so I had a little extra time. My hair looks great of course, and while out I dropped a donation book off at the public library and went to P.O. for HOA. And I knew that an email re: next year's budget was coming for my early review, since I won't make their meeting on Sunday.
This afternoon is HOA and temple budget. We'll need to leave 5:30ish for dinner out.

One more two more Anti. P. tasks accomplished.
I have tossed a couple of items.
Desk duty happened cleaned it off one in the dining room and the table as well.
Looked to see when something was due not for 6 weeks or so I have time not urgent.
Put eggs on to boil for healthier snacks to have later and in some sandwiches.
We have walked some ddoggo wanted to turn around earlier no prob. we will finish later.
-----
Re quarterly plans I keep some pages a year to refer back to esp. in the garden planner,
Bujo list in a bound book lasts 90 days' apx. so I can also refer back to those if needed.
That does help.
Harriet:
I to have used cards bigger for notes here lined ones, did not by unlined ones.

~~~waving Hi to all~~~~
Hip pad is always with me lately and being used daily - which gives me a big clue that I am struggling mentally still. In anything there are highs & lows, so I recognize the clues that I am in a low phase. Anytime the family is going through a challenging time (especially the kids), then I tend to struggle. DS17 has appt with surgeon in 13 days so we are in waiting mode. DS17 hasn't worked in 10 days which hasn't happened in years. I recognize this isn't a struggle phase that will last forever, so we are getting through it the best we can.
A visit to the vet happened this morning to get Sam caught up on his shots and nails trimmed.
We had three medical type appointments tomorrow that I called and rescheduled. IMHO, six appointments on spring break is ridiculous if we want to have a BREAK. I am declaring the rest of the week to be appointment free.
I am spending some time and thought focusing on tweaking my healthy habits. My eating is off the chart which is affecting other parts of my health & fitness. I need to put my oxygen mask on first IYKWIM
Yes, LadyM! Put on your oxygen mask and just breathe for a minute. It'll all still be there. (For better or worse.)
Very distractible today. I've gotten one thing done besides meals and taking DC to school -- my after-lunch exercises. Other than that, I've fallen down countless rabbit holes.
I think I still have time to get the wash in before I go pick up DC. I also need to do a small grocery run. I think I will do that on the way home from getting DC. I'm cheating -- getting salmon for dinner while we still have some frozen. But I forgot to defrost it, so.... The other salmon won't go to waste. I'm sure there will be a day I remember to defrost it. I also need milk, cheese, and eggs. I'd like to get a couple of convenience things for lunches, but since I've been tracking things, I've seen just how much sodium is in most of them, and I'm sure my cardiologist would be happy if I didn't have so much. Anyhow, I can get DC to come with me and do the checkout, since standing in line is difficult for me.
...and I just got distracted again, checking the fridge and adding things to the grocery list. I'd better go get that wash in. Have a great day, everybody!
EEEEK -- I'm about to write it down! The roofer is coming to let me pick color and he will have me sign a contract with him.
I am just so nervous about this. DS is going to try to come over to help me remember questions I had, and help me make the decisions.
Ridge vents/mushroom vents? Diverters/gutters? Assurance that he can take care of the dormers. Assurance that he will be back if there are problems.
Y'all, please say a prayer with me that I will make good decisions.
Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
I did yoga, picked up a Rx at the drug store, went to the grocery store for bananas and bought a bunch of stuff that looks exactly like what it is -- a hungry person's impulse buys. Also stopped at service station and got a slice of cheese pizza.
I was eating when the roofer called a little while ago. I hope DS will have time to meet with him before he has to pick up dgrands at school.
After he leaves, I may go visit dh's cousin. I ordered a book for dmom for Mother's Day, and decided to get Dcousin one also -- "Nothing is Impossible with God" by Shannon Bream. I thought that would be encouraging for a person about to begin chemo.
Then church tonight... our lesson is on Bathsheba. Kinda an awkward topic, because it goes at it as her being misunderstood as a victim of rape. As far as I know, none of the three of us at Bible Study have experienced anything like that so the bulk of the lesson doesn't apply to us.
Here comes DS -- be back later.
Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
We've finished the morning part of our walk this is the 2nd part.
Got to see they are working on putting in the power poles looks like the old ones still have the lines on them.
Road was closed so we did not venture down there to ask questions.
Warming trend for temps. after this week by the weekend I think.
Had lunch salmon San. on a hamb. bun was quite tasty.
Watched a CE class vlog while I did knitting the rest of today's color selection.
-----
I have been using a pumice stone on the procalin sp? tub using a few min at a time and have nearly 3/4ths of it done.
Yea! Next to decide on my dinner.
Weeded by the deck and patio again.
Re: Write it Down Wednesday PWYC
Progress. I did the three HOA checks, organized some year-end stuff and the February and March receipts - I think everything is entered through 31 March in fact. I reviewed the proposed temple budget, and I can't find anything I'd change about it. I need to do some organization of the temple cemetery records, it's nearly end of this quarter but I'm not sure I will.
