Hello, everyone!

How nice to "see" you, Harriet. Did Tobias get his early breakfast? :D (Freddie uses his paddy paw to "suggest" , and then slight claw pressure, if his "suggestion" is not followed quickly enough! )

Enjoy the Easter egg hunt, L.Ann!

Helia, I was also a horse mad little girl. But we lived in the suburbs, so I am didn't get to ride one very often, especially as my father refused to convert the (large) tool shed/ coal store to a stable!!! So, I had an imaginary horse instead, which came everywhere for several years. Probably embarrassing fory parents, but, at the same time, less trouble and expense than the real thing!

Good luck with the paperwork, Bama!

Dogged, I hope you feel better soon. I admire your prowess at dealing with tech issues!

We had a lovely lunch today,y appointment afterwards was successful, and Waitrose had everything I wanted. I did a little in my front garden, and then Freddie decidedy.lap was the place he wanted to be. I made chicken soup for supper, and the cars have been fed. Going to try for an early night!

WTG, L.Ann.

I found a recipe for parmesan-pepper french bread and filled the breadmaker, but accidentally hit start instead of menu, so now it is determined to do it on the regular bread cycle. I've unplugged it multiple times. There is no reset button on the machine, so can't factory reset. This loaf will get done on the regular cycle and hope for the best. I'll bring the back-up breadmaker up from the basement and start washing it out.

Mmm do I smell bread baking?

Sitting outside w the dogs. A strange 4 wheeler came down our drive and then went down the driveway next to us (leads to a tower) so I’m waiting for them to come back out and leave before I go in.
I get it’s nice weather and everybody wants to get out but ya never know. We’ve had stuff go missing from our yard.
Lurking while I wait. 👀

The people left. Dh was in the shower and I called and left him a voice mail. Half an hour later they’re gone, he’s in bed so I go in and ask if he checked his messages bc I could be 💀.
:|
I cooked some hamburger patties for supper with tomato slices. So good. My stove tried to kill me again, last time it caught on fire, this time the frying pan caught on fire. I saved the burger and the pan lol.
If it was morning time I might be tempted to go back to bed and get back up later but since it’s nighttime I’m just going to bed and watching some tv. :P

Thursday - paper day, catch up day
2 four wheelers came down drive and left when they saw me, shut off engines just out of sight so I yelled hello…no answer… I yelled no trespassing, they went to the tower for at least 15 minutes, when they came back up they drove up the driveway very slowly, not sure if they were trying to see our yard or not, thick underbrush between the 2 driveways

Thanks, L.Ann. I hope it is!

That sounds creepy, Bama. I'm glad that they left without incident.
I know that a small apartment is not everyone's dream, but I find it a relief not to have to think about trespassers. What were those Roman war machines that were fortified staircases on wheels called? If I see one of those coming at me, I'll put the security bar in my patio door, but until then I'm good.

I spotted the power cable for the PVR sitting outside of the box that I so carefully taped up, so I had to cut the tape and rewrap it. D'oh!
