Re: Tues. Trash Day
Oops! Another nap happened here this afternoon.
I am trying to get the sausages, potatoes. green and red peppers and onions all cooked so they can go into the oven and swim in some hot chicken broth for a half hour. Just waiting for peppers and onions to finish frying. Everything else is ready and waiting.

Re: Tues. Trash Day
I have been out in the garden working on cleaning up what I've pruned off.
More to do. Got the cans all full except one.
Found the info I needed for the mower decision.
Duds are done folded and put away now.
I've had lunch too.
Sun is trying to come out now yea!
-----
Had dinner talked with dson about the mower choice.
This evening I am doing a pupa and rbr
I needed to focus on that and a zone.
So I spiffed up my bedroom.
I'll do a diff. room in the morning and that will help.
I never ceases to amaze me what 15 min. of attn. to an area does for improving that.
So good to get up and see that I did some thing before bed!

The surgeon gave DS17 three options. One of them was to do nothing and that is the option he recommended and DS17 choose. The cyst is not life threatening and might never give him any problems again. If it does return, then a round of antibodies takes care of it. ***Big sigh of relief***

I just reviewed what food I've eaten over the past year that has the highest protein % other than protein shakes. Mine are -I will be glad when I figure out how to get enough protein in my diet without protein shakes
** Eggs
** cottage cheese
** Greek yogurt
** Chicken breast
No matter how many fruits & vegetables I eat, I can't reach my fiber goal unless I include one of the Xtreme wellness wraps

I've been on a tear to get this DAR info ready for the registrar to review for me. I could send it myself but always want to get her take on it. I'm doing the two-sided scanning now for the second time to get the documents ready for review. I'm really not happy about this. It's a waste of my time. I've enclosed 12 documents, one is a 5 page will. It's obvious that the men in Loudoun Co in 1817 are not the right age to be my William born about 1745,
I sent registrar the link to review them. She is more detail oriented than any accountant I think I've ever known, lol.

Re: Tues. Trash Day
Thinking of you, too, blessed. Hope the days are going well and the construction is almost over.
Hoping this gets it done, Twins'.
Ds and children came. I was not going to give dgdC her present yet, because her mom wasn't even with her today, and because her birthday is later, but they will be on a trip. AND guess what her gift is - a rolling luggage suitcase.
So, since I had it in a gift bag with tissue, we brought it out for her to have early, and when her dad saw it, he was pleased for her to get it in advance of travel. It is patterned, but much more "grown up" than the Disney ones she has had.
Fiber chat - I guess my smoothie is my meal with the most fiber. But breakfasts are probably close, whether grains or tofu-veg. I kept up with this for so long and had quick inserting of the same frequent meals into online calculation, but it's been a while. Another is my big baked potato with corn, black beans and guac - that one is very high in fiber I remember.

Re: Tues. Trash Day
Just popping in for another quick hello! Thanks for all the congrats to dgs.
Today has been just about as hectic as yesterday. I did not stay for the meal after church, because dmom asked if I could go to Next Town with her. (meaning, could I drive her to next town.) So I did that; stopped and paid her gas bill (for her gas logs) and dropped off her tax info at her accountant's. That was a quick trip, but when we got back to her house, she wanted to take decorations off her Christmas tree.
(Go ahead and LOL -- we know it's about time! She wants to put Easter decorations on it.) So I helped her with that, and that took a while.
She and I also walked her driveway to get the mail and bring the garbage can back to the house -- it's pretty long and a pretty steep hill, so I was amazed she wanted to walk with me. She used her walker, but she did fine.
I just got back home, ate some BBQ from yesterday -- I had previously eaten a banana. Period. That is all I have eaten today -- a banana and 6 oz. of pulled pork. I know it is 6 oz. because we put it in 3 oz. cups yesterday for church lunch. We wanted to make sure we portioned it out enough to make it last -- so that those first in line wouldn't take a huge amount and leave the end of the line eating bread and slaw.
I will probably have a hamburger at the ballgame because this ballpark has really good hamburgers, but honestly, I have had more energy today than I do when I eat carelessly and get too many carbs.
Anyway, I will go get ds and the dgrands in about 30 minutes and we will go to dgd's ballgame. DDIL will meet us there after a meeting she has to go to at church.
I'm just going to wave at everyone! I think I will change into jeans before going to this game.
