LAnn I've been chasing viruses all day... Hope DD feels better real soon.
I went to DGD - she has high fever (flu). The other one has been sick with it since Friday... her parents caught it, too.
I've been picking up/ delivering meds, broth, juice, dropping off a swab at the lab for 4 hours.

My laundry is waiting patiently... I took my pup out briefly this morning b/c it was windy.
Going to take her for another walk and take it from there.
I did not catch up yet on posts but saw that laurlind is back

Brag moment: I've been walking Thumper on the leash and he has never understood the concept, he’s 9, a husky dachshund mix so he looks like a corgi, well this week he has been doing wonderfully on the leash, not wrapping around me or stepping on the leash getting tangled in it much, and the past couple of days I’ve been letting the leash go so he can run some and he has come back when called every time. When I say “go home” both dogs know to run to the porch. This has taken a long time lol.

Bama you're me feel a bit better about Casper. Yours is 9? He's 3 1/2. Goodness he's still a pulling machine. I lost him off lead again just now went walking while supper cooked and instead of letting him pull me in the pool in the ditch he slipped off my grip. Straight for the deck and was looking in at her . She came out to say hi and easy catch. I think he's gotten to the point he'll come back after a run. But I almost had him controlled with prong collar . I didn't complete it enough. Of he wants to pull there's no stopping him unless one can hold him still . He made me fall on the steps again. Nothing serious this time. Usually he's really good but the cat was at the bottom and he chased.. just for a second enough to take his leash behind me...

I think I did my goal and that is it. I washed the slip covers. Got mom's laundry back to her room. Bible study. Some music. A walk. That's it.
