Laura, hope your arm heals quickly. Beau used to pull me around and be very protective in public, to the point I never took him anywhere. I should take him to tractor supply and see how he does now that he has mellowed out. I guess some dogs just have to grow old before they settle down. I didn’t spend enough time teaching my dogs, kids still home, taking in cats, so it’s my fault they didn’t get the lessons earlier. Now I have all the time to show them how I expect them to behave. Instead of bad dog it’s bad mom lol.
Hi helia! It’s a finance class that I hope is interesting and educational for dh and myself. I hope LH catches on quickly.
Canva sounds interesting.
My have to’s are done yay. Oops need to read the Bible. Then I might take a nap before I shower and get ready. These late nights are not a good thing when I have to function during the day. List updated.

Laurlind, I am sure that Casper is beautiful, well loved, and needs LOTS of exercise! It sounds like you have found a good massage therapist who will be helpful for you.
Bama, my son has taught dog classes. He says the dogs learn quickly, the owners less so.
helia, your life is so full, and so interesting.
kitkat, I hope everyone recovers quickly, and you stay healthy. Remember, wash your hands! and don't touch your face.
L.ann,I hope dd33 continues to veel better and you have a good visit with the dr - I tinhk that is today?
Doggedly, I love when you tell us you took Germane for a "carry". She like to "go with" but just doesn't have the stamina to walk. My Dragon loved walking. In his prime, we could go 2-3 miles. But at the end of his 16 year life, I put on his leash, walked to the end of the (short) driveway and back. But he had a walk and was happy. (Pekingese, small dog)
kittykatt, I'm sure that soil temp is important for germination.
hi trissie, have a good day with both work and kids

I see my optometrist today. A good friend of the fmaily and most excellent eye doctor. He does way more than fit for glasses. I have an issue to talk to him about. He loved my mother; I'm sure we will talk about her.

That’s so true about dogs, Gma. I love german shepherds and need to accept that they need a lot of activity. Since I’ve been walking and playing ball daily Beau sleeps so well and seems much more content than before. We are about the same age now too which helps lol.
List updated and found out we get bbq from a new to us restaurant tonight. Yum. The promise of food will encourage dh to go so in turn he will push me to go. I tend to get the why bother attitude when I have to go out and I know I need to get out of the house more. For now it’s siesta time.

Laurlind - it's not too late, although challenging b/c you are busy working plus with family...
Are you able to get some help with training? If not a private trainer, perhaps at Humane Society or online? Or someone with good advice (and knowledge) on the breed.
(I had a few injuries with my ddog ... so I take it seriously.) ( a torn muscle, a broken metatarsal, an ankle sprain...)
Bama I was thinking of face masks.. as in protective wear ... when I read your post
What class are you doing?
helia enjoy the walk!
I dropped off supplies to everyone...
lol X2 moving
ate breakfast/took supplements, meds
fed canine
garb OTD
Next;
babysitting session at DD
BIAB

Re: Soil Thermometer Thursday
Hello, all! Yesterday I went to my df's stitch n bitch and had a wonderful time. I met new friends, and everyone was so nice. And now I'm ready to get back at it. I did pack up and label the new ISP's equipment, so I can take that into the courier to send. I also want to go to Canadian Tire to get a tension rod that fits the doorway of the walk in closet so that I can hang the curtains across it. I'm looking forward to seeing how that looks. And if I am very brave, I'll brave the Costco parking lot again to see if I can make it inside the store for cheese. I should buy some frozen fish for Germane, but that's likely to be the stop that broke the camel's back, so to speak. Why am I not buying fish while I'm at Costco? Well, a quick scan of their web site shows the lowest price is over $150. I'm pretty sure that I can get it for $10 at the local grocery store.
I need to jump in and get on with my errands, so I will just wish you all a good day and check in with you later.

Happy Thursday!
Sorry, can't be social, but I need the accountability and motivation, as it's been a long day (leaving home at 7am and getting home for real at 6pm) and I still need to keep going.

- pick up DBD from school
- drop kids home
- grocery store
ToDos
- morning routine
- put away groceries
- start dinner

Re: Soil Thermometer Thursday
It was a good book, KitKat. Did you like A Man Called Ova? If so you should read The Ferryman and his Wife. It is a novella by another Scandinavian author. DD33 is good. It is the infamous abscess. At least with neutrophils her body can do something about it. Hopkins surgeons say there is nothing that can really be done for long term healing. NIH is going to do an MRI and ultrasound in a couple of weeks of the area so maybe they will have a different idea. We’ll see.
