trissie, I always learn the most interesting things from you. I had to look up The Three Ice Men. We go by Victoria Day weekend here, which is a little later in the month (shorter growing season.) The Monday is a statutory holiday, but garden centres are allowed to stay open to let people get their gardens in.
It's so good to hear about your culture's integration of bees. One of my fathers was a hobby apiarist but we were out in the country with no neighbours to object. I wouldn't have dared to try to keep them when I had my house, as you just knew that some neighbour or other would have an allergy or invent one so they could have the city make you destroy them. This was the suburb that included plants assumed to cause hayfever under their "toxic plants" bylaw.

I did get lots of sleep, thank you. In fact, I slept through some of my Saturday morning radio shows, so I will try to catch them on demand this afternoon.

Having lots of choices is a kind of luxury, Lauralind. I hope that you find lots to enjoy in your day.
Your band sounds fun. When I see the old British shows with the band in the parks, I feel a little envious.

Ouch on the toe, helia. Do you have a cane that you can use to hobble around the house in case jogging on that toe backfires?

Started planning next stew for Germane. Pictured where the frozen buffalo meat is in the freezer and considered whether to go with buffalo or pork. Turned to see Germane’s eyes locked on me, her dish forgotten. “Buffalo? There’s buffalo in the freezer and not in my dish?”

Well we did half of that section again. It's really not a big area but takes too long to prep. Decided to go do some more on Wednesday

Only now I've lost all my momentum for here. This morning I did get the kitchen better. And scrubbed my shower. That's about it. I think my goal is going to be figure out supper and deal with the evening. I knew that would throw me off. Oh well.

I had coffee. Should probably get my flute out and warm up a little. And make sure my music is organized.

Oh, Lauralind, I can totally relate to the lost momentum. I'm just back from Germane's walk and I don't know why it takes so much out of me, but it really does. It was such a little walk, too, but I still feel the need to put my feet up for a few. It sounds like you got a lot done before you lost momentum.

It is DD33’s favorite show so she was thrilled. If we ranked the 4 high school musicals we saw I would rank the production a 4. The music in that one is particularly difficult and their scene changes in the second act were a bit rough. It was still a fun afternoon.

I kept finding things I needed to do that involved being on my feet but I think I am done those and can now do the seated things.

Dogged I cheated a bit: had a nap ...
but laundry is going , thank you and I put away a large pile, plus, sorted winter stuff... finished paper work (a big accomplishment for me - hence the need for a nap )
Took my pup for a big walk plus, play in the playground (up the steps of the slide/down, up the bench/down). Had a misadventure with a large dog/owner, but it was my fault. (They asked for an extra poo bag when he saw my dog go potty. I searched all my pockets while my pup was losing her mind as the young man kept coming closer and closer... Finally, I told him I'd leave it on the ground for him. I need to learn to be rude...)

Is DD OK, LAnn? I read something earlier during the week...

I can understand why that play is your DD33's favourite, L.Ann. It's got all of the fun fairy tale characters, and such a warm uplifting ending. My standard for local theatre is that if they remember most of their lines they succeed, so I'd give those students a thumbs up, LOL.

The nap didn't slow you down, kitkat. You got lots done!

I ended up just taking a break sitting at my desk. I've got my energy back, so am back at it.
