Started lunch with V-8 other entrees under consideration.
Got another can of weed from the back fence line yea!
It was not as bad as I thought it would be
cans are full enough weight wise to much more and I have to take some out
before lifting it.

Luv it that I can count rounds of progress.
Also did some reading for a rest break on the deck, glad I got some notes and
reminders on the page... before loading the can up.

We were unable to plan our day well because the exterminator was coming to our house and ddolder's for annual spray. We ended up having to ditch plans except for the pickup and a very quick meal. Sigh.

And because of the spraying the guy did, now HRH (probably very correctly) doesn't want me going out the door again until tomorrow. Double Sigh. A good day for gardening, but I will sew.

The pharmacist wanted a consult with me, so we waited for her. She feels confident I'll be okay with this change, just wants to prepare me with helpful instructions. She says stop halfway through a meal, take this stuff, immediately sip something for a different taste, finish the meal. It is very thick, reminiscent of some med I took in childhood (?) that made you sure you shouldn't put in your mouth, lol. You wouldn't be able to take it from a little cup like cough syrup, because so much would stay in the cup. Needs to be a spoon, so measuring is a challenge. I think I have it figured out.

Slight corrections from me. My dear cousin who delivered our community's mail for decades was actually my third cousin, so you wouldn't think it should bother so much, but we had many ties. I was reared to appreciate his folks, etc. And his life was hard and I knew, when others didn't get it.
And when I posted that HRH and I don't monitor each other's meds, suggesting that Dr. didn't need to tell him, that was flippant. If I hadn't had help after hospital last year, I very well might have made a mistake or been neglectful, since it turns out, contrary to personal opinion, I am not always right.

** Monthly cash from bank. Note...DH is having problems paying for purchases when he has a mixture of denominations of cash in his billfold. I've started keeping a stack of $1 bills for him to fill his wallet with. He can easily count out cash when they are all the same. He spends the cash on drinks and cookies, so it is always just a few dollars to count.

While DH was getting hair cut I entertained myself by visiting garden center next door. I reminded myself that every inch of my raised beds are stuffed full of plants. I have over planted the space already and have started growing in the aisles! >>>. shaking head<<<< I still came home with 4 plants that I like to grow because they typically overwinter well and are beautiful in the hot summer weather. Rose Moss & Ice plant are very low maintenance and have abundance of flowers for many months. I have some volunteers coming up but they won't be this size for several weeks. ANYway, I had to quickly build a small raised bed for the new flowers and find soil/compost. I took bucket & shovel with me to a nearby gully surround by trees and dug up dirt from there. I got my exercise because it required several trips of hauling buckets of soil. I knew that dirt had never been sprayed with any chemicals, so it felt worth the effort. I was creating this new raised bed on the fly with no planning so i'm surprised how well it turned out.
Note to self - STAY OUT of the garden stores!

LucyLee - you can always disappear from Life360 for a bit if you want. Turn your phone battery saver on, or put phone on airplane mode or turn your phone off. I rarely look at Life360 but love having the ability if needed. DS17 tracks me more than I track him. Sometimes he will call me and say something like "While you are at Sam's would you pick up xxxx" I ask "How to you know that I'm at Sam's?" Life360.

Thanks for the tip, LadyM! DS just told me he doesn't get notifications re: my whereabouts anyway; he has the notifications turned off. I've been getting a lot of notifications from his today. I may turn my notifications off too. I can certainly see where this is a wonderful invention for parents of young drivers, though! DS said they don't pay for the version which allows them to see how fast each other is driving, etc, but I suggested they might want to do that when dgs starts driving in a couple years. Just knowing they could be watching might make him more careful, IMHO.

So -- I have ordered the plant for tomorrow's service
Bought the fruit trays (and other misc. items for self)
Met dmom at Wmart, at her request, to help her get a rx transferred to a mail delivery (she did not need me at all -- I did nothing but stand there)
Picked up a pizza and cheese sticks for supper
Went to the post office
Talked to ds
Talked to husband of dh's cousin (he called to tell me they would start visitation 30 minutes earlier if people were beginning to show up)

I am continuing to protect my sinuses and refrain from stirring up dust or anything else. I have no plans for the evening except to eat, read the paper, and watch tv.

This was outdoor spraying, Harriet? Mine doesn't do anything outdoors, unless maybe around the back door. She sprays all around the inside of the house every 3 months.
I do not envy you the new medicine! I hope you don't have to experience too much of the side effects. (((HUGS)))

Cathy -- I need to see how much I am paying for my allergy syringes. I get a pack of $25 at the drug store.

Ah, finally a day that I'm not committed to a lot of other stuff.

Amen to that, Twins!!! I am sooo glad that there is nothing I have to do tonight (except transfer the fruit to a prettier dish!) The last week or so, I have been over-booked myself. Some of those days when the thought occurs, "How did I ever have time to work?"

This is why garden centers don't open until May where I live... y'all we have a FROST warning for tonight!! UGH! Dh's favourite garden center opens tomorrow. He always starts planting around mid May. I hope he can wait another week at least.

Yes, this is an outdoor service at the edges of houses, and, as a matter of fact, the company I was responsible to pay when I was church treasurer. They do not come inside, but I guess they would if asked about it. In theory, no effect on those indoors, such as Tobias. We pointed out my Wington neighbor, who the guy was happy to avoid. He says he is often asked to avoid a discovered bird's nest.

I have done a little sewing, experimenting with threads on different parts of the quilt.

Ddolder came over on a walk and sat for a while. Lots of news from the boys, who are winding down their school years, planning next. When I go for my eye operation, she will be away with her youngest all day for EOG testing. DgsC has finished certification in a couple computer courses. Her youngest has gotten the next belt in Karate. DangerBoy will work at the same summer job he did last year, an aquatic center counselor and equipment manager. WonderBoy has chosen a completely different univ from his big brother, in the mountains instead. He just loves it there, is excited. I don't know how dd is going to manage all the driving to handle two different kids in univ - she's been surprised by how many times she was required for the oldest.
