Hello, KitKat and Helia!
Enjoy your sunny weather, KitKat. We have patches of blue sky appearing, so I'm going to venture into the garden after lunch.
Helia, dinner on the patio sounded lovely! No, the roofer didn't want to come round and look "right now",

partly because he knows our house well, and partly, I think, because Painter J made a very professional and informative video with a voiceover, showing exactly what problems he had discovered, and where, which I sent to L, so it was effectively one professional taking to another professional, rather than me saying, "Well, there's a bit missing on the left hand side, about 3 tiles up, and it looks a bit wonky towards the top..."
While I was typing this L replied -he wants scaffolding (sigh!) and will the neighbours be ok? Replied they should be ok. I think Dnextdoorneighbour D may not be entirely happy, but only small bits have fallen out so far, so she probably hasn't really noticed. (They don't go out in their garden much, except to sit in the sun). If she's at all unwilling, I'll say we want to get it done well before the winter storms, as if it deteriorates further, larger bits could fall out and damage her roof, or even hit someone when they were walking underneath, and I'm worried about her 3 year old niece when she comes to visit. (All technically true and possible, even if somewhat unlikely in the near future!)
