Helia, your mention of mango reminded me of the Agatha Christie story (I think it was The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding) where Poirot demonstrates to the assembled household how to cut and serve a mango without getting covered in juice!
KitKat, Jude has actually gained 30 grams (about an ounce) this time.
The lovely nurse wasn't worried - it could be the result of stealing part of Fred's breakfast when my back was turned, or even just a full bladder. She doesn't look or feel any different, but we need to keep an eye on this, so ... we go back in 4 weeks instead of 5. 
However, Jude was a little angel throughout, and even when I took her into the community shop on the way home to buy stamps and post a letter - the postmistress fell in love with her.
Today is cold and showery again, but we had a lovely service to celebrate Corpus Christi. I *think* I'm up to date with my email correspondence, so I don't have to worry about that this afternoon. I'm going to try and do a little in my front garden during the sunny spells. I can always dash inside if it rains!
