Pausing to acknowledge that I just passed 700 days of logging everything I eat. This is the longest streak I have ever had doing this. It has become ingrained habit that I don't think about much because it just happens without much mental effort. I would like to improve one aspect of logging. I continue to weigh everything I eat at home but I frequently don't log it until EOD. I jot down 92g of brisket, 130g potatoes, 7g butter, etc etc etc. and then enter it into cronometer later. I want to change that process and log into cronometer before I eat.
This might not sound like a big change, but it is huge to me. Once I eat the food I can't undo it. When I am logging the food later and see a bad decision, it is too late to correct it. By logging the food before eating i will be fully aware of the consequences and have to take ownership of it.
