So glad you got your anniversary out lunch with dh, Kitty! Sounds like a lovely relaxing day.
Glad you got some sleep, kitkat. Though, 7 hours doesn't sound like enough to me - but we're all different. The weather here looks foreboding too. I can hear thunder rumbling in the distance. Hot yoga - you're serious about yoga!
Sleep well and see you soon, Doggedly.

We are leaving this morning; it's about a 3.5 hour drive. We just want to get there in time to see dd30's panel discussion at 3pm.

I think dh and I plan to be very low key at the conference and take time to recover a bit. I do have payroll I will need to get done - and I am giving the exit test online tomorrow afternoon.

Next:

- s2s and self care

Later:

- pack: cooler food, nonperishable food, nespresso machine
- drive 3.5 hours
- either settle in bnb OR go straight to the conference to see dd30
- dinner: not sure of our plan; bring a frozen meal OR buy something there
- after dinner clean up
- conference: evening session
- payroll: finish AK for AR Exam
- payroll: send out drafts of 4 exams
- visit with S, dd28, and K (dd28's friend)

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - up a little bit

Well, hoping you will be able to have some quiet time to recharge during the conference, helia!
kitkat, at least everything will be watered!
kittykatt, so did you get a steak, or something lighter for your anniversary dinner?
Dogged, you asked yesterday - with my trusted cherry-pitter device, it only took about 20-25 minutes to get a batch of jam (3 jars - from 1kg of fruit) done. However, I finished at 11pm and I decided to skip laundry care, so that will be waiting for me today!

Peaking in from payroll before I leave and face the home madness. I have tomorrow off, but I need to take my computer with me as I am still waiting on last documents for a batch that needs to go out tomorrow. I think everything is under control, but a list is a list!

TaDas
- morning madness
- load of lighst sorted, delay started
- DW unloaded
- everybody to places on time
- permission note for DBD
- busy day at work

ToDos
- midday routine
- 15 outside
- 15 room rescue: master bathroom, DBD's room

Braindump
home - routines-food-general
- midday routine
- afternoon routine
- evening routine
- dinner
- bake something sweet
- 30 on laundry
- stuff from master bedroom to attic
home - room by room
- DBD's room
- twins' room
- DS15's room
- master bedroom
- master bathroom
- kitchen
- living room
- downstairs bathroom and hallways
- office
garden
- 15 in front garden
- pruning of roses
- garage - usable for DH's car
- carport - usable for my car
party
- confirm attendance list
- final menu
- grocery order from Tesco
- shopping list

Yes, trissie - trying to look at the bright side...
I love cherry pitters - they actually work!
Hope your day off will allow for a little break for you?

helia will you get a bit of a break during your trip at least?
I agree, 7 hours is not much sleep but it is MUCH better than the 5 I've been getting

I got pup all leashed, took my raincoat - got ready for a walk. As we opened the door, down came the rain.... Not a drizzle
We might just do some store walk... as there is a big wind as well...
As I typed this, the sun came out... I thought this was June - not April!

Achievements:

fed pup
took am meds
D2S
OTD - got DGD ready
took her to camp
home - lol
breakfast/supplements
brought down laundry basket

Next:
coffee
lol adv/start /fpa
pup to car for store adventures

I didn't wake up until eleven, so it works out, kitkat. :) We are part of your weather system, so it makes a great day to sleep in late. I'm just hoping that it will be over with by Saturday. I have plans to go to Weinerpawlooza, our dachshund rescue's big fundraiser.

I hope that the trip isn't too taxing, helia, and that your DD's panel discussion goes well.

That is amazingly efficient, trissie! I think of jam-making as an all day activity. Hurray for a day off tomorrow. I hope that work does not intrude.

It's a big weather system, kitkat, spanning from Texas to Quebec. I don't think that you are done with it yet.

Crazy weather, Dogged! I'm glad you got your sleep.
I took advantage of the sunshine and went with Dpup. The wind is strong but warm... We did an hour long walk. Got a little rain, but I can live with that.
Next:

back to laundry I go.

kitkat, I am taking the day off to get things ready for the party weekend (DH's birthday BBQ party on Saturday and DBD's birthday party on Sunday), so... not much relaxing going on, but at least it will give me more time and less hassle!
Dogged, I think it would be a whole day if one would have to process a harvest from a big garden - I prefer to do a batch or two at a time, and that doesn't take too much time. Plus, the cherry pitter (I have one similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssoL7Jozh9U&t=4s ) is real quick - you wouldn't expect me to not have the best, would you? :-)

I'm glad that you got your walk in, kitkat.

That does look a lot more efficient than slicing each cherry individually, trissie! And, yes, I fully anticipate that you would find the most efficient way to get things done, as you get so much done in a day!
