Good morning! I am listening to my Saturday morning radio shows. I see that our hard working SHEs have gotten us to Page 2 already.
Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt.
(((FrenchFly))) we have been thinking of you this week as we saw those temperatures day after day in France. I'm glad that the heat is starting to abate.
Kittykatt, it sounds like your schools' administrators are doing their best to keep the children safe with the resources available. I don't think that our schools are air conditioned either, which is surprising considering that hot summers are no surprise to us.
I remember those days, Gma! Also, there were two summers where Mom and kids went to stay at a cottage on the lake for the summer. We were moving often at that time, so we would move from our home to the cottage and then on to the new home. But other families did the same, and the father commuted from town every weekend.
And I remember running throught the sprinkler, Harriet. Enjoy your trip to the grocery store. Bring a chair and enjoy the cool.
Kittykatt, I went through a stage where I was getting headaches in the heat and wondered if I was getting a sensitivity to heat. Then I realized that I wasn't drinking coffee because of the heat, and I was going through caffeine withdrawal. Now I drink my coffee in front of a fan like an Australian.
LOL, your DD is a wise one, Harriet!
That brings me to end of Page 1, and I think that I heard the rice pot click. [wanders off, smacking lips]
