Last night I was awakened at 0430, itching all over - mosquito? Chiggers? from working outside setting up the little fence in the garden? Anyhow, i was awake for about 45 minutes, scratching, using hydrocortisone lotion until it finally settled down. I've been itching off and on all day today as well, but it seems to be a little less. I'll dose up befoer I get into bed, and hope I sleep.
Care conference went well. dfBS is content and feels well cared for. She is in a private room now, and she liked the TV in her other room better, so she asked to have it switched. That was her only request. Her hospice nurse came, as did her lunch, so I left.
Bought some yarn on sale at Hobby Lobby so I can finish my own summer shawl; also bought some cotton yarn at Michael's in variegated red whit and blue, as I have a dsis2 with a birthday coming up and she is planning new colors in her K - RW&B. I'm hoping to make her some good pot holders. I'm sometimes impressed with how I have taken on creative projects - like I used to do before I was focused on my mother and had NO spare time. Things must be going OK with me, that I am no only thinking of these, but actually doing some of them.
After I got home, I went to mother's house, emptied dehumidifiers, then got bedroom ready for dbro and dsil who are coming on Monday. Then I decided to go through drawers in the bathroom vanity. Filled a wastebasket with half-used and old cosmetics; saved a few good things, wiped out 4 drawers. That took a while! I'm taking stock of what things I will be able to put on a garage/ estate sale this fall - not everything, but some of the stuff that will be easiest to let go of.
I'm going to relax a little by crocheting a row or 2 before going to bed.
I wonder what the opera will be on Thursday?
