Home from a great workout. Stopped off at temple and forgot to get the bills. She scans and emails to me but I like to see them too. I did say hello to the interim rabbi and got the contact info for the insurance. Got a phone call and message about cemetery next door where part of our fallen tree landed. Stopped at cemetery and verified that the outlet on the pole works - even after the fallen tree took out the power line. That's enough cemetery and HOA work for today.
Dh has gone to a meeting, I'm heading upstairs. I still need to walk the dog but hoping she'll let me wait awhile.

I'm feeling good about today because I was able to get back into the normal groove in so many ways. However, I am still feeling the strain of the past few days of high stress. Time will take care of the stress strain as things calm down.
DS52 and DGD16 have asked to visit this weekend. I would LOVE to see them but I'm not sure this weekend is the best timing. We will see how it goes.
I called DS17 and told him that I was tapping out with the yard. I have worked on it 10 different times today (only 5-10 minutes at a time because of the heat) and not making enough headway. DS17 told me "I got you. i will spend tomorrow mowing and weed eating to get it all caught up".
DH and I made the 50 mile drive to get DD15 prescriptions and dropped them off to her. I'm glad to get that must-do accomplished.

It has been a pretty normal day around here which means nothing got done, Dgd let me sleep for a while this morning and then we went and got dgs at football practice.
Talked to ds.
We ate lunch and I took a very short nap.
Made Dgd shower and get ready for her volleyball game, which turned out to be two volleyball games and they won both of them. In the first one they had to play a third match (third round? I don’t know what you call it but they ended up winning two out of three in the first round and two out of two in the second round so that was good and she got to serve at least once and did well.
Dgrands went home with ddil tonight.
I think tomorrow is going to be a rest and recovery day for me because the kids will be coming back tomorrow evening and will be here till Sunday evening so it’s going to be a long weekend for me. Dgd may need to stay Sunday night as well. It looks like it may be stormy. I kinda hope it is so she won’t want to go to the pool!
