Today's Funny
I was putting stuff out on the deck from the dining room kitchen & living room so I could.
Mop I look down to see ddoggo bringing her leash back in and take it to the living room.
Then she plops down right where I'd just swept in front of the dog dish.

On a break before I dust. X did some...

I always have a good workout. The woman who is there in the afternoon now has picked up that I prefer to move fast and she's wearing me out!

After, I stopped at the drugstore for a script and the grocery for additional stuff to make a peach salsa to go with pork chops tonight. We are overstocked on peaches. Dh bought a dozen late last week, and then took delivery of two dozen farm peaches ordered long ago as a HS fundraiser. We're also overstocked on our cherry tomatoes. I have picked numerous baskets of them yesterday and today and there are still ripe ones on the vine. Some went to dh's workout partner this a.m., some went to the guy who mows our yard, some went to the friends that dh is having a drink with this afternoon. In the a.m. some peaches, tomatoes and basil go to the woman who worked me out today, and peaches to the owner. Dh will deliver those when he goes to workout.

I got our towels into the dryer, as soon as they're dry I'll s2s. I need to go ahead and walk the ddog soon.

My energy has been good today. I need to keep moving.

Really exhausted. Definitely did too much.
We had everyone we expected except youngest of ddolder's children didn't come, which was probably best. The yeoman's work was done by dsonil and DangerBoy, but everyone worked and got it done well in our rocky soil. HRH ordered pizza, but just dd27 and dsonil ate with us.

I went ahead and did a lot of vacuuming today. It's often a wrestling match, I've found, when you have a house with small rooms. And then later I was the go-fer, walking so much all over the yard.

LadyM, I'm impressed that they researched and figured out the window project.

Nancy, it's true that we have to remind ourselves how much we are getting done, or even how much is getting in the way (?) so we have an understanding of why we're not getting to certain hopes and plans. It's not like we are throwing time out the window! We deserve to take a bow sometimes, for all the things that do happen! Good for dear dog PUPA leash.

Ramblin', I hope the headache was over fast. I sort of needed to mop today but surprised myself with just continuing on with the tool in my hand (vacuum).

I told HRH how we have often discussed here whether you do one thing all through the house while you're doing it, or whether you finish one room before leaving it. Both ideas are valid.

lucylee, how is dgs enjoying the football season? And dgd her season at volleyball? How is grandma holding up?

blessed, awwww, your ddyounger's headed out to FL again. I'm sure there are times she wishes she could be two places at one time. It's been great to see you popping in to post more often.

Twins', "Sometimes I feel like I have to babysit those men." Um, yes, there is that.
Giving away peaches at this time of year is a lovely tradition. Although... .. a peach cobbler ... .. it's just a thought.
