What's in a name? Hoagie? Dagwood? Sub? Whatever you call it, that's what we are having for supper. I will go pick it up after 4:30. The sub shop is just 10 minutes away, so not a problem to go get it.

I took a load to the landfill.

I dead headed weeds in the front yard, and changed out the water for the wild life.
Watched some of the quilt show in sister's Oregon on you tube, watched till they got to the place mats.
Pressed the new star fabric, it's rather thin. sigh
Trying to watch the new Enola Holmes movie on net flex but I'm distracted and having a challenge sitting still.
Got some notes on paper.
Had lunch.

cleaned out the fridge - I feel bad for anyone working outside today
the contractor put up the glass today on our lights outside - yay they finally came in.
fridge took a long time
bleach water the tops of the counter and stove.

I wonder if I should take a nap bc I am on my own with my mom all night. I don't know. moms dementia is hitting hard - no interest in things. I dislike seeing her this way.

DD15 appt with oral surgeon went well. She will have all 4 wisdom teeth removed tomorrow morning at 10:15.
The weirdness about adoption continues. Their printed instructions for surgery were all typical except for the part where it said BIOLOGICAL PARENT MUST BE PRESENT. Not only did they bold those words, but they also had the words in red with yellow highlight. Strange.

I did ask the office person how they knew DD15 was adopted. She said "You must have told us". I did not tell them. I asked why they wanted the adoption papers instead of her birth certificate (showing me listed as the parent). They said the home office wanted the adoption papers. So the mystery remains. WHATEVER.

I wanted to stop and get something to eat on the way home but didn't want to eat any fresh produce (no lettuce, etc.) because of the cyclosporiasis outbreak. We ended up getting all fried foods (chicken planks, french fries). Not healthy but at least we won't get the parasite.

The outbreak of cyclosporiasis makes you think about what you're eating. We are having company for dinner on Sunday (cousins, children of dcousin J) for burgers and dogs, and again on Tuesday p.m. which is our "other" ds, Z, his wife, and toddler. I've suggested that we eat here on Tuesday p.m. because of the toddler factor. I think we can grill steak on Tuesday p.m. and I need sides for it...salad? I have our own tomatoes but otherwise produce comes from outside the house. (I may have volunteered to make peach cobbler for both occasions....) Some things that I like in a salad that aren't produce: olives in oil, a fruit (craisins? strawberries? peaches?) goat or feta cheese. The scary thing about these spores is that they don't wash off, and symptoms don't present for a week or so....

I've had a great afternoon. The bit of discussion on genealogical certification renewals kick started my writing today. We're just each on our own to find a supper in the refrigerator tonight so I'm working a little longer. Dog is walked and fed, however.
