Hello! I am drinking my coffee and enjoying this foggy day. I don't often get to see it, as it is more a morning phenomenon and I am not a morning person. But today's fog has considerately waited for me.

Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt. When I saw the title, my mind went straight to Tubular Bells, when he announces the instruments. I remember the voice saying "Mandolin..."
Enjoy your bank holiday. Our next holiday is Labour Day, coming up next Monday.
Sorry for leaving you alone in the morning. I should stop in on one my nighttime wanderings.

Hooray for a free afternoon to help you get a jump on things, trissie! I see that you have gotten a lot done already.

Hi, helia. I hope that your meeting goes well, and that the girls enjoy their first day.

Monday
Clean up after Germane
Treats for Germane
Wash out Germane’s eyes
Treats for Germane
Made new Procrastaccomplishments sheet for the week

L.Ann, they are about as excited as you can expect! Is a no-symptom urinary tract infection a possible problem for DD?
Dogged, lucky you to have a nice association with mandolins! My mind immediatelly went to the kitchen utensil on which I sliced my thumb so bad that I still wince thinking about it.
helia, would a stationary bike work for you while taking the weight off? I must have missed it - I know one of the girls is your niece, but the other?

They tested twice, Trissie, to make sure. It is concerning at least to me since she also had pneumonia we only discovered by accident.

Sorry about the pneumonia and the urinary tract infection, L.Ann. I guess the one positive is that they haven't been hurting DS33 or she would have been telling you about them.

trissie, I winced thinking about your thumb! Tubular Bells is certainly more pleasant.

Hello, everyone!

Trissie, you've reminded me I need to buy pansies for my autumn / winter pots. Ive been putting it off as it's been so hot and pansies don't like the heat, but maybe this week?

Helia, I hope the Girls are enjoying school. I managed a very productive hours in my garden before the rain briefly returned.

Dogged, I always think foggy mornings can be quite eerie. We haven't had any yet, but they're quite common for us in September.

I hope the doctors can get DD's UTI sorted out, L.Ann.

Today's been productive, I had a good time in my garden, and even quickly strimmed those parts of the lawn that have started growing again. And I pruned a rose, so that job is now started!

DH cooked toad in the hole for supper tonight - delicious! I'm now on the sofa with Matilda on my lap.

You have gotten a lot done out in the garden, Kittykatt. I'm glad that the weather cooperated.

Are you reading essays for pleasure, L.Ann? Or are you helping someone with their work?

Yesterday I worked hard but didn't see anything looking better as a result. Today I am starting to see the progress improving things, so that helps the motivation.
