Harmony, I do think his intentions were good but he just needs to buy their place and quit stringing them along. She did not indicate that they had a contract because she didn't seem to understand that you can't just give someone earnest money and expect them to just hold it for you, until May 15. There has to be a contract to protect all sides. So it is my job tomorrow to find out for sure whether they have a contract and tell them that dh just doesn't want to hold our house for 2 months waiting on him to buy their house. We will be gone on our Baltimore trip when May 15 rolls around and everything will then be on hold until we get home, unless they can get him on the ball sooner than that. If they don't have a contract he is holding up all of us and could walk away from their May 15 deadline and leave all of us, out of luck.
