Hello villagers.
Lucylee, I'm sorry your DDad is having a rough time in the hospital. I'd hoped he would get better. I'm glad the funeral was nice and I'll bet you're glad it is all over, at least that part of getting used to all this change.
Happy Birthday Kally!
Nancy, it is an ongoing chore to keep a house "show" ready. Even when we did not live in our other house I had to go over and clean and dust and weed and mow for a showing. I'm not looking forward to someday getting into that again.
Dove those lamb cupcakes are cute, but they'd sure be sweet with all the marshmallows!
From the other day: I remember DSis and I running around playing cowboys and Indians with our cap guns!
I have noticed the Spi der Bo t constantly with us too. I don't know why but it makes me nervous, like someone is spying on me.
I ran out and bought DH a new tie this AM. It took me half a day to get ready for the wedding, with ironing all the clothes, dying my hair and rolling, a manicure, changing purses, helping DH. But the wedding was beautiful, in a very pretty place along the water. We did get the 4 generations together and get a picture. (Harriet, yes it is DFiL who is GrGFather to newest baby and his siblings). We're lucky he's still with us as he's not in good health, but somehow keeps staying with us. DStepMiL has her hands full taking care of him.
We said goodbye to DH's son & family as they head south for a couple days before flying home. He got a picture on his phone that showed hail in his yard, so it'll be different when they get there. DH's brother and wife is still in town and we may see them one night for dinner before they head back. Family is great, even ones we're not so close with, or ones that have problems; when we get together we manage to put all that aside and have a good time.
I'll be glad to get back to my usual schedule around here. I got one set of sheets washed and hanging up, lots more to do.
