:D :D :D Happy belated birthday, Kally!!! :D :D :D

Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers for our family; please keep them coming... my ddad is just not doing well at all. Still running high fever -- well, 103, 104 -- and dmom sounds like she's about stressed to the limit. I offered to come over and sit with her tonight -- she's worried that she can't stay awake -- but she knows tomorrow is supposed to be a busy busy day for me -- and actually, all week will be. So I don't know what to do. She said my aunt would probably come over if she asked her.
* sigh * I WISH MY BROTHER LIVED HERE AT TIMES LIKE THIS. :P

Good news -- I have written about 2/3 of my thank you's.
Going out to eat again.
Tomorrow is another day.

Thanks, Lucylee! I'm sorry your ddad isn't doing well. Prayers for both he and your dmom, as well as you. Hope he is better soon. WTG on the thank-you's.

It was great to read dindiana's long post. Looking forward to more of them. :D

Need to find something to eat.

Next is life skills at 11am. aka getting some things done around here.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.

Great 'pickup' dinner tonight. We went to the musician's house with our 1/2 chicken, salad, hummus, yorkshire puddings, veggies, cranberry sauce and they added scalloped potatoes, pork roast and we had a feast. Three more people ended up dropping in and joining us at the spur of the moment so there was a total of 10 people for dinner.

Lots of laughter and great conversation.

Dd IM'd me to call but it wasn't baby news, just making flight arrangements for our holiday. Sigh....

I'm off to bed now. Lots of driving over the next two days because I'm taking a neighbour for her cataract surgery and then follow on appointment.

Nancy, I hope the realtor's good news materializes for you guys. You need a break!

Lucylee, I'm sorry also your DDad isn't doing better. They haven't figured it out yet? Seems to me like he was ok (except for blood lab work) till the chemo.

Indiana, you've really been through a lot and I'm glad you're recovered and back home.

The house and I are both in recovery mode. I did as much as I could until I crashed and slept a part of the afternoon. Garbage / recycle gather-up tonight was quite large (I hate paper plates, they make such bulk in the garbage). Also was glad at the last minute I remembered to check guest bathroom waste can which is always empty, but this time held a giant load of diapers.

Towels and sheets all brought in. Whites washed. Will hang them up tomorrow morning. I did another 2 hours at my desk tonight. Still more to go. See, this is why I spend some time every morning there. I hate when it piles up like this.

Still sleepy. I don't bounce back as easily as I once did.

What a lovely morning you are having, Lynlee. That sounds ideal.

I have been thoroughly charmed by spur-of-the-moment reading in The Wind In The Willows on the site I mentioned yesterday. "... the joy of living and the delight of spring without its cleaning"

((lucylee)) I hope they can figure out the source of this fever soon. I know your parents are so weary.

Harmony, that's me after dd32's family leaves. Surprise diapers, long nap, aware of more trash. But I think fondly of the paper plates because I realize the dishwashing energy they spared me, plus everyone had a plate at the moment they needed it, no waiting!

Dd13 plans to get up early in the morning, wash her hair and believe she is ready for the school week. I truly hope it will work out. She's not coughing rapid fire any more and her other symptoms have calmed down. When I think all the symptoms through, I just can't settle on allergy as the reason in my mind, so I'm glad we've treated it.

Interrupted by a bolt of cat. Tobias attacked/sprang on a plastic grocery bag and somehow got partially tangled through the handles, so it seemed to be chasing him as he sped, feet partially inside it, from one end of house to the other. Lots of crackling noise. He's rescued.
