Oh....   (((Indiana)))! That is just terrible! I am also hoping the supervisor can be more helpful.

Pretty good day @ school. I am now waiting on dh to come home from jury selection. The fact that he is NOT home yet tells me he is probably going to be spending this week on jury duty. He is NOT going to be a happy camper...

I should start some laundry, but I don't want it to be sitting in the washer, wrinkling, while we go to Wmart... so I'm waiting on dh... and I could really use a nap.

(((Lilac))) for all the d?gd drama. * sigh *

Waving to all!!!
Tomorrow is another day.

lucylee, my dh has been called for jury duty 4 or 5 times. Each time he shows up and sits there the whole time they are questioning the prospective jurors and they always get enough before they get to him. On the other hand I have been called 3 times and was a juror twice. So I am curious to see what happens with your dh.

Yay! I managed to get here. Last several days I've just plain been 'gone' -so much going on.

Hrrrmmmppphhhh, Indiana! Not fair!

I sent off 3 prescriptions to Med Co today, so will see how this goes.

DH called me last night and evidently at some point in time he had told DS-A we'd buy one of the benches for baby Zoe's Memorial Garden. No big deal -till I found out they're over $700 apiece! :o Oh well, it's done and we obviously won't be spending on her through the years. DS-A sent me pictures this afternoon of the Memorial Garden. I was flabbergasted. It's going to be beautiful. It's on the elementary school grounds and provide a quiet place for teachers or others. I figured it was just going to be a small little spot with a tree. Wrong. I will try to post a picture of what's happening so far in the picture zone.

Have a meeting in 45 minutes (church council). DD is bringing pizza and I'm hoping she gets here in time for me to have a piece -I'm starving.

Our pastor's Dmom passed away last Monday so she (pastor) had to make a hurried trip to Dallas, TX before she died. Got caught up in the tornadoes. Funeral was Thursday, she flew home Friday to be there for Easter (she could have stayed). Now she has to fly back next week as she's Executor.

Have to run for now -hope to get back here regularly again. It's been a week!
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

I forgot to bring lunch today, so I went to IHOP. I had to reset the date on my watch, somehow Saturday DD10 managed to reset it. I have called the person who has my next potential foster for some info. He had ringworm in his house a while back and I want to make sure it is gone. I have made a list of what I need to do at payroll tomorrow. Tonight, I need to get some stuff picked up before the maids come on Wednesday. I will do 15 minutes in various hotspots. Today I ordered a FlyLady wallet, mine is not practical anymore, it is falling apart and has no place to put money. I am basically using it as a card holder.

Hello ladies - on the day after Easter. I had a wonderful Easter, speaking at my church service, enjoying our beautiful choir singing, and the array of white cala lilys decorating the stage.

Ahhh - now I have the rest of April free of outside commitments and ready to get to work decluttering. I set a goal of 2 hrs. a day dedicated to decluttering backlog paperwork in my office area and setting up filing systems to support maintenance of current paper. I have a large laminated wall calendar up and I'm going to play "Don't Break the Chain" on it. I get to mark a big X on each day that I complete 2 hrs. of decluttering work - and I don't want to miss a day or I break the chain. Google it and you'll read people's description of this productivity game, based on Jerry Seinfeld's joke writing system. He wanted to write 1 joke every day and used this game to motivate himself.
I have completed my 2 hrs. today and put a big X on today. Now I'll get my evening chores done and relax with "Dancing with the Stars" tonight.

Waving hi to everyone posting today! Now that Lent has passed, will Helia join us again? I miss your lovely family's activities.

Well, Lilac, he's on it -- jury duty. He is NOT happy. He is pretty much exhausted from the last few weeks, and he is just NOT looking forward to this at all. * sigh *

I walked 1 mile outdoors, and talked to dmom on the phone. Ddad's x-ray from last week shows the pneumonia is definitely improving. However, the pain in his chest is NOT. He goes back tomorrow to drink more colored stuff and have another scan of some type. Doctor is still just certain that it is NOT his gall bladder, and says removal of gall bladder at this point would be a last resort, b/c ddad is very susceptible to infection & any sort of surgery would be high infection risk for him. Plus, they will be coming home on the interstate @ rush hour.
I do not WANT to do it, (b/c y'all know how stuff like this always messes with my anxiety response) but I offered to go with them & drive... but so far, dmom has not called back... so I don't think they're going to take me up on the offer.

Trying to catch up on laundry, so dh can do towels & underwear.

Sher -- the Chain Game sounds good. Of course, I've been trying to do that w/exercise, in a way, for a while. I put a smiley face on my bathroom calendar every day that I exercise. However, I haven't thought of it in this way before -- as breaking a chain when I skipped a day -- so maybe I could work with this somehow. Hmmm...

Waving to Elizabeth...

Dee... the memorial garden sounds beautiful!
Tomorrow is another day.

Dee, I was so glad to see that you posted. I had been wondering about you.

Dh and I did our taxes on Turbo Tax. For the last 10 years or so, I had done it by hand. Then this year our state decided e-file is the way to go and I couldn't find tax booklets or forms anywhere. So it is done and we owe to both. It is a big relief to have it done.

Last Wednesday which was the last day of school before the break, dgd15 needed to recruit 2 judges for the forensics tournament tomorrow. Dd2 asked me if I wanted to judge or babysit. I told her I was more qualified to babysit, so I will be doing that tomorrow. Dh leaves tomorrow afternoon for an overnight trip to the plant headquarters for a managers meeting.

Oh lucylee, that really is poor timing for your dh to end up on jury duty. Hopefully, it will be a short trial.

sherinjoy, please tell us sometime in The Decluttered Home how the Don't Break the Chain game works for you! Sounds like a fun one. But I would think 2 hours of decluttering is a lot harder than writing one joke! (But what do I know!)

lucylee, maybe it will be a short trial? Hope either that or it's interesting. You need to come in to H and F and get credit for your smilie faces idea and all the exercise!

Glad you got to pop in and post, Dee! The garden with benches sounds lovely.

Enjoy your time with your sister, Kathryn.

I did make all 3 DPCs, but only made contact on 2, and thought of another one, which ended in just being able to leave a message. The return phone call for one was very frustrating - I missed it while picking up dd and HRH didn't answer because he figured he wouldn't know how to handle it. The message they left was less than useless, so that's something to start over on tomorrow.
