I can't believe how hot y'all are, hotter than we are. We were only 93° this afternoon. Of course our humidity is the wringing wet variety.
I remember going to a zoo one time and watching the polar bears (who wouldn't be used to hot weather for sure) playing with a huge block of ice that had big chunks of fruit frozen inside. They were pawing at it, pushing it around, licking it, biting it, clawing it. Poor chickens, they didn't know what was good for them.
Today's chores all done. Even cleaned out my email box. I guess I'll go sew.

Re: Thrifty Thursday
Worked outdoors doing MPB PM chores for 1.5 hours and just realized that I didn't even notice the heat. After 6 days of being over 100 degrees, my body is okay with it. Of course, iced drinks are with us all the time and frequently consumed. Today I found an insulated wine bottle holder that is the perfect size for our water bottles that go everywhere with us.

Twins' Mom, I would call the dr. Also, when you get chest x-ray ask if you should have a thyroid guard. Fun idea for dogs treats.
Even better bear treat!
Hens never went near the milk carton, btw. So much for that idea. Ice block freezing for tomorrow.
OKay, you will LOVE a hula hoop. Lots of info on the net, not that it isn't at least a little self-explanatory. You do better at first when you place one foot a little forward of the other rather than exactly side-by-side, and it takes a bit to learn which foot that should be, depending upon whether you are hooping to the right or the left. When a hula-hoop clatters to the floor, it means you are learning and getting better. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Indiana, so glad you had a good day without much effect from weather.
Emptynester, there was a television mini-series of Into The Woods, still done in play form with the feel of a theater stage, although televised and with close-ups, starring Bernadette Peters. This was years ago. I remember I thought it was fabulous. I had the impression that it had been done on Broadway, but that might not have been the case. It was one of the most interesting plays I had ever seen.
I had to come in and put something in J and C, tried sleep as HRH wanted to go to bed, but tossed and turned and had to get up. I had posted but I hadn't emailed the children. Will try a reboot of that sleeping thing.
