Hello, villagers ~
Book sale today was fun but not as many people as I expected. Hopefully people will continue to go in this week and be honest about putting money in the box for the books and movies they take. Next Saturday we'll let everyone take as much as they want to carry for $5. Whatever is left at the end, we have to carry it all up the stairs and try to figure out what to do with it.
I was strict with myself and only brought home 9 or 10 books and a jigsaw puzzle. Most of the books I'll read and then take back for the library to resell. The puzzle was priced 25 cents and is for the next sewing retreat. I took one to retreat last fall, and people had fun with it whenever they needed a break from their sewing machines.
I bid on a couple of the silent auction items to get them started, but other people added bids after mine so I'm off the hook.
A storm came through this afternoon. We finally got a little rain! a tiny little bit of rain!
Tomorrow my family is getting together at my older DSis's for my DMom's birthday, which is later in the week. I'm going to wait and cut up the veggies in the morning. I've been on my feet enough today.
On the way home from my family, we'll stop at DMIL's. She had cataract surgery last week. I have some fabric for her because she says she wants to try to get back into sewing now that both of her eyes have been "done."

Re: Specifically Saturday
I made a pharmacy run to p/u "stronger pain meds" which dh needed. Turned out dentist had phoned in same meds he's already taking.
Took close to an hour; when I got there they hadn't even taken the script off the answering machine.
Dd and I walked ddogs two laps around while ds and Z went to p/u pizza. Did I mention that she lost 20 pounds this summer at camp? Walking everywhere plus less availability of fast foods paid off. She could lose more (was over 200 lbs at beginning of summer apparently) but she looks healthier.
Hoping mr dee and mr twins are both better in the am.

Re: Specifically Saturday
Dee, do all the AR-lifestyle-type things to help, I guess. If he's already laid down, that stops me suggesting he recline instead, lol. Can you think of any food triggers yesterday or even the day before that might have started this?
I got my 5x5 done, exercised and S2Sed.
Dd gathered up all the recyclables and broke down boxes.
That's wonderful about dd's health benefits from camp, Twins' Mom. Hopefully the med will kick in for dh.
BookSaver, when my dfirstmil got her eyes done she got back into crochet and cross-stitch and enjoyed it very much.

Hope Mr. Dee feels better soon!
Also, Mr. Twins!
You too, Harmony!
I still feel pretty miserable but we're going to a movie... maybe tomorrow I can re-program myself!

~~~waving Hello to all~~~~
I'm so tired I feel like it is an effort to even sit upright in this chair. I am taking a short break before starting LO bedtime routine.
DSon and family visit with us was short (24 hours) but simply wonderful. Better than wonderful.....it was AWESOME! I enjoyed ever moment of it. But-let-me-tell-ya.....staying up with three fully energized youngsters under the age of five plus 2 teenagers requires NON-stop going and doing. i feel just a tad bit shell shocked. DGD1 decided she should be in my arms about 90% of the time. When I wasn't holding her, she followed me around holding her hands up to be picked up. Of course I love that we have bonded so well.......however carrying a little one around all the time while doing everything else was something I haven't done in a couple of years and am out of practice....and my tiredness is showing that I am also getting out of shape!!
LO birthday party went off without any problems. We had 16 attend. The house was pleasantly full.
I need to quit jabbering and get PM cards done.
Sweet dreams. *POOF*
