I wanted to thank Dove for sharing the Mary Jane's Farm Aug/Sept cover info. Because 3 web sites are showing the cover of the mag right now I was able to link. This site is the most interesting and even has a thank-you post from one of the authors of the articles Dove mentioned, so I decided to link to it, thinking, hey, someone might see something that interested them among this blogging lady's birding/cooking interests. He motto is "Be brave, do it anyway, be yourself." and you have to scroll down to find her other blog links. The reason I wanted to show the mag cover is that the issue is also about Glamping, which might amuse Emptynester, mamapiano and Dee. Glamping means glamorous camping and there is a charming photo of a bicycle leaning against a vintage "travel trailer" on the cover.

Now, have I missed Dove because of computer issues? Is that right?
From the "Oh, now I get it" department:
Weather induced migraine.
Oh, now I get it.
Going to bed for the nap may have helped, but the bad dreams were for S. King (shudder) to produce into books. HRH says how do you think he gets his ideas - he goes to bed with a headache and keeps a notepad on his nightstand.
So, Sunny, I think it bypassed you to get here fast and start inside my head.
Sadie, I'm glad they got back to you and made some sense - I was starting to tap my foot!!!
Dd14 takes very seriously that she is to report on high school. She says she still rates high school a "10". "Psychology is fun. World History is fun. Engineering is the tough kind of fun. Music is hard work but AWESOME (emphasized, sing-songed - she looooves Dr. P, her oldest and evidently sweetest teacher EV-ER, lol). In Health/Gym I have good friends so I'm happy." Yesterday dear aunt-of-the-daily-aprons92 (my ddad's sis) called dd to hear all about school, and told her that my mother would be proud of her, and to remember she was her namesake. (snif)
Yet another educator pulled from this school for some kind of government/D.C. education job. Her Health teacher. So she will learn a new person.
One thing I notice is that she has a friend who wants to stay with her, buddy-system, while waiting to be picked up - possibly the chanciest time of day without supervision - and that's a good idea. After all, the student population alone is greater than the town population when I was her age. Totally selfish on my part is this thought - the friend has blonde-blonde hair, long and thick and is easy to spot 50 yards away beyond a long line of cars, so I know where my child is several minutes ahead of reaching her.
