Thanks for the encouraging words, apparently a LIST is not the norm here, well I am sorry!!
It is how I work, and how my Dmom along with her cards worked..maybe this board is not for me.

Re: Think it out Thursday
Good morning. I've been online for an hour but actually a bit productive.
Sent all the village an email. Will be interesting to see when it arrives. Last time I sent one to the moderators, everyone got it except me!
For those who are interested, this is a link to Indiana's Obituary.

Movies are due back today. I may try that errand myself. I haven't driven a car in almost 6 weeks and will have to do so next week so should try going off on my own today. It is only 3 miles each way so even if I run into issues, dh can bike to me.
The generator servicing takes place this afternoon.
Aside from that, the day is open, although I do have to shower which is very tiring for me.

Oh, Bernice, I love your list! I loved seeing it yesterday too. There is some variance here on list-using; some of us here use them, others don't, all for good reasons. We even joke about lists here, but everyone is encouraged to do what works for them. It looks to me like there are several going on today! Please don't leave over list use.

Re: Think it out Thursday
What a busy, busy place this is this morning!!
I'm waiting to hear from DD if she is working today - if not we will go in and do some laundry. If she is we will have to find a laundromat.
I know tomorrow she has the afternoon off as we are doing the pedi thing again.
DEE:: Do not do one thing else before you call for an appointment!! Of course, your high BP could be because of pending company - but call now!!
Looks like a pretty day here - my allergies are up a bit as they are picking corn all around us. Off to do the morning stuff.

Re: Think it out Thursday
Bernice: Sorry if our little inside joke wasn't explained. Some of us (Me included) use lists all of the time. Some don't. We also jab each other on college and pro football, basketball and hockey.
Please speak up but don't leave - it is just like a family - sometimes we step on toes but didn't mean to.
Also don't be upset if I go on and on about my beloved Chicago Bears. OR White Sox. OR Da Bulls. It is all in fun.

Re: Think it out Thursday
Speaking of football, I think our beloved Wolverines got crushed by Alabama last weekend. I didn't hear lucylee say anything about it -- or I conveniently missed it. LOL!
Working on my week list and calendar. Of course, the week is almost over. . . . .Better late then never, I guess?

Re: Think it out Thursday
Bernice, I think you have misunderstood something. I hope you didn't think my silly joke was intended to criticize your post in some way? It was not, believe me - I was just teasing Lynlee, (who knows I will tease her in a second) about hers, and about being sure she could handle multiple pages of chores without a "reaction". I am a classic SHE as described in the third chapter of Pam Young and Peggy Jone's Sidetracked Home Executives book, who, as they explain in the book, must never again make lists and must instead learn to divide tasks into cards or other small groupings. Some others here are like me and need to always break down chores into small parts, some are not. I didn't realize you weren't familiar with ongoing humor about some SHEs' aversion to lists. For many years I've joked about having an allergy to lists, or approaching them carefully, but that means my own lists. Many times I've said it has no bearing on anyone else's. So please don't think that my post later was passing some kind of judgement on your opening of the thread. It was not at all.

Re: Think it out Thursday
Just received the email and it made me weepy-eyed.
Yes, Bernice, the li&t thingie is a joke. Apparently there are those among us who are allergic to li&ts- see, I'm being considerate by spelling it out.
We are still at the beach, enjoying the sun and water, altho I'm a big fan of the superduper SPF 100 sunscreen.
Helia, Lucylee is an auburn fan, the "other" Alabama school.

Re: Think it out Thursday
Bernice: don't worry about the li*t. You'll see them here from time to time, especially from those of us who use this thread for accountability.
Others are 'allergic' to li*ts and avert their eyes.
Everyone is welcome and we are always open to hearing how others stay on task and make progress as long as it doesn't entail getting nekkid and posting pictures of yourself doing each chore! Oh, certain slavery practices are frowned upon as well, although I got away of working my kids as slaves when their oversights/forgetfulness took time away from my day in order to solve their issues. In that case, slave labour was the only way they had to pay me back.
