Was trying to figure out how to send photos from iphone to W mart for actual pictures. Finally texted dd (my computer guru!) and asked her. Uh, duh -try emailing them to yourself and proceed from there. Of course. There may be a way to do it from my phone but this work and at least they'll be saved to my computer as well. Was thinking I had to connect my phone and download all the pictures that way. Not necessarily.

Ok, it's 11:23 and I have to leave here in about 1/2 hour. Want to go to the bank first to deposit a check from dh. At least I've been busy this morning so time has gone by pretty well. BBL

good morning dear ladies,

Started out sunny here but now cloudy and dark, maybe rain is in the air.

For the first time in a while my legs and back feel good. 8-)

Woke up several times during the night. People here and at work are complaining about not sleeping well. I have my iphone and blue tooth next to me at night so I watch an episode of the Andy Griffith show and get back to sleep or I surf the internet for some topic that just jumps into my head at 2:15 a.m.

Going to exercise and then shower. Work day for me.

Waving to all, have a great day!

:D Good Morning, Ladies! :D

Lynlee, Thank you for the starter upper! I was surprised to find it wasn't Conga Friday, but it's nice to get a change, too! ;)

Scattered, I'm glad 2 Melatonin helped you sleep better, too! :)

Dee, How old are your youngest dgs? :?: My youngest 2 are 17 months and 3 1/2, both 3-mo. preemies, and we're so glad they survived! :)

Kathryn, Hope your back improves. Your hip sounds painful, but WTG for walking! :)

OKay, I liked your PODA! ;)

Harmony, Good job doing the bedroom. They say clean bedrooms help us sleep better.

Nancy, I know that the Central WA State fires are really bad right now! We're in W. WA State, so we sometimes see the haze from over there. We're 97% humidity today, too. :o

Sadie, Glad your legs and back feel good. I hope you sleep better tonight, without interruptions, too. :)

My PODA:
1- to wash towels
2- scrub toilets
3- read
4- write on stories
5- to walk

My ear seems to be better (to me!) this morning. I'm having those :( side effects you get from antibiotics though. Oh, well. I've always remembered that statement: "THIS IS TEMPORARY, THIS WILL PASS!" It is so important to remember that. I have a little post-it note, which says that, posted in my inside kitchen cabinet door for a major surgery in 2005. Here, I've left it there all those years, because I always hit something which is a "challenge" so I need to be reminded it's temporary!

Have a super Friday, Everybody! :D

Hi all! I've been staying on track. I ran a couple errands this a.m., took care of moms group stuff - ordering books for some ladies, sending out small group lists and brunch instructions to the sg leaders for the sg brunch next week - and responding to some sundry emails that needed a response.

I have called a landscape co. about repairing our wavy brick walkways. I left a message. Dh wants me to get an estimate for doing the entire driveway in brick, which he would really like. I think that is his European side coming out. I also think that will be outrageously expensive. Our driveway has a large area with a curve on one side. We can probably fit 5-6 cars on it, 4 (if a couple are sedans) in such a way that everyone can drive out w/out blocking each other.

--They just called back and they do not do just paver repairs. Argh!

I just re-read an email, and I think I need to go to the high school to see if they got the music uniform door's lock fixed; if so, I'm supposed to go pull reserved concert uniforms (evening dresses and tuxes) for the band members that reserved last spring. . . .That will be the rest of the afternoon.

Off I go!

Good afternoon! My struggles with needing so much sleep continue, I was up when dh got up, walked the ddogs, surfed the interwebs and went back to sleep. I did see the doc yesterday, and she suggests a sleep study, bloodwork, and for the time being to bump up one of my meds. Of course, yesterday was such a busy day that I typically collapse at home when I can, so I guess I'm at least in character.

Dh guilted me this morning about going to services tonight - of course, he didn't have two temple related meetings yesterday and one on Wednesday. He was there on Sunday night and Monday night like me, but after a long week of temple biz sometimes I need to be away from the building more than I need services. I think I'll bake challah again today.

-clear kitchen counters
-clear kitchen table of mail, etc.
-start a lol
-make the bed
-15 minutes straighten up in MBR and closet

Dee, I have ultrasounds instead. My dcousin has thermography instead and someone here on the boards was considering changing to thermography - was it Sadie?

Sadie and Elizabeth often mention some of my favorite shows :D Sadie watches Andy Griffith often and Elizabeth favors Hogan's Heroes.

Good morning! It is barely still morning. Last night I stayed late at work to get a database out. It got done, I ate at Cracker Barrel, then went to art class. There I finished leaves and a stem for a flower picture. I was hoping that I could join the knitters/crocheters group at a local yarn store, but they aren't meeting until October. It would give me something to do on Friday night, now that DD does not come over on Friday. At payroll I am reviewing documents. I have no idea what's for dinner, cereal or soup probably. Tonight, I would like to soak my jacket in Oxyclean, it has motor oil on the sleeve. I also need to work with foster cat. While I do that, I can clean up the LR, then sew backings on the crocheted rugs. I need to print a pattern out. I, too, am part of the sleepy crowd, though my new morning routine is working better than the old one.

-start challah
-reboot laundry (I'm doing delicates to hang)
-15 more minutes in MBR/closet
-continue download of IOS 6 on iPhone
-put a label on the house phone with access code for voice mail

I don't ever recall a time when so many of us in the Village have been suffering from fatigue.

My blood results from yesterday are in. She's just doing liver enzymes and they are all back to normal except GGT. "Increased levels of GGT levels may indicate in general that the liver is being damaged but does not specifically point to a condition that may be causing the injury." So now I have to wait to see the specialist to see if he can diagnose further. Taking any number of meds including ibuprofen or my anti-histamines will mess with GGT levels so I'm glad my doctor has me off all meds. Plus I don't drink so it isn't as if a glass of wine made the reading go high. I'm just 2x normal so it isn't far out of whack but it isn't back to normal either.

I'm off for my nap now. Didn't get much done so far today. In fact, nothing except downloading a different WW program and a pedometer to my smart phone. And folding and putting away a load of laundry.

It was Finally Friday for me in that I had my appt with the upholsterer, who drives here from the furniture "capital" of our region once a week to consult with this store's customers. It is a pleasure to talk to someone who really knows his stuff. (That pun was completely unintentional!) He is very confident there is plenty of fabric (saleslady was saying maybe the backs of the pillows would have to be made from a different fabric, but he says he will have plenty of fudging room as he cuts out the fabric and will even have scraps for me. I got this fabric for less than $15 a yard, which is wonderful after pricing upholstery fabric lately. Plus, I got a 10 percent discount because I chose to wait until their seasonal sale. All in all, I'm very happy.

Sleeping/rest and dealing with fatigue did not go well, but I don't need to be bothering you with that here. My situation is circumstances, not health, but it is quickly affecting health so I need the circumstances to improve.
