Well, no leak under the house per the DS's, the garbage disposal is leaking so will need to replace that. Goog led the decreased pressure and now need to climb under the sink for further investigation. Will hopefully be able to do this in the morning, had the DS's clean out under the sink so I can get in there.

Need to go finish up dinner and eat so I can get out of here.

Back from errands today have taken up most of the day.
H. is not happy ran into some paperwork snafu with some business stuff
and can't take care of it until next week he's wanting me to deal w/ it ack not happy about this turn of things.

I went back to that place that had they yd. sale and were moving pd. for 6 hens I'll pick up this evening as they were not wanting to be caught today. H. is giving me grief about 'em he's not a happy camper. I said they were a good price and if they are too much prob. we will just eat 'em. [I got feed w/ my gift card from my bday.]

I took two donations by the church this a.m.

Back from my walk it's nice out here had to shed my longsleeve shirt to my tee shirt.

Scattered - this might be a long shot......some faucet spouts have a screwed on piece at the end of them with a screen. We have had the screens become clogged and greatly restricted the flow of water. Simple fix - unscrew, clean and reattach.

Nancy - Congrat's on finding chickens!

I just called members of FNG and told them I am calling off tonight's gathering in our home.

LO is ringing the door bell....over and over. I'm not going to tell him to stop. As long as the bell is ringing he is easily kept up with.

Ivy, Ours is hybrid and while a plug in is available, we chose not to consider it. We'd never save enough to make it worthwhile (you have to add 220v to the garage to charge quickly and buy a cable so those costs, plus the additional cost of the car, would take the life of the car to save since, in Canada, you can't go far on a charge in winter, maybe 20 miles total.) Our current Prius gives us 48mpg in the summer on average and 42 in the winter. The new one might be better (there's something wrong with our Prius and it gives us better mileage on the highway than in the city) but not for a while. They take a while to offer up good mileage - the mileage on ours has got better and better as the car got older.

Note: we could get similar gas mileage with a number of other non-hybrid cars. Our son's 2002 Honda Civic can get the same highway mileage as we do when he works at being careful and watching his speed (and he only paid $1500 for it!) But we don't have to work at getting the good mileage like others do and our mileage stays high even when we are in the city with stop and go driving. But, there are many Hyundai cars that are close to the same mileage and cost 1/2 to 2/3 what a Prius costs. So great mileage doesn't have to come at a higher cost.

I'm off to bed now. Never did nap today so this is a record for me. Haven't been productive, though, but I have been up. Dh took me out to Subway because neither of us wanted to cook but I wanted something somewhat healthy for dinner since I'd been really bad with snacking on junk all day today.

I think we're all ready for the weekend. I started at the bedroom end of the house and worked my way to the living room. It's all spiffy now. The sheets, towels and linens will be laundered tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow morning we will leave the house at 7 am to go out to the pier at a local beach. A local group that sponsors children with disabilities will have their annual fishing tournament tomorrow. We haven't missed going with them for quite a few years. That takes all morning, then dfam#1 will be here for supper. So it will be a busy day for us.

Dee, I'm glad for once Me d co is cooperating. Maybe they got a new system. One can always hope.

I am hoping that's the case, Harmony. Med Co just was taken over by E xpress S cripts and maybe they did get a new system! I just looked online and all my renewals have gone through the sort facility in our city -so I'm assuming they'll be here tomorrow. I only clicked for renewals on Tuesday night I think it was.

Dfriend brought us stuffed pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy, crandberry sauce, applesauce and rolls for dinner. And brought a container of homemade clam chowder for later this weekend. Oh, and 1/2 an apple pie! that will be for dh. I'm abstaining.

Need to get ready for bed, my back is yelling.

Scattered, sure hope you figure out your sink. Sometimes it's just a clogged mesh at the end of the fawcett, and the piece that holds it usually unscrews, like OKay said. Or could be corrosion inside the fawcett somewhere.

Nancy, I hope the new hens work out.
Kathryn, DD2 totes her 3 boys back and forth to school with bookbags, sometimes guitar, trumpet, golf bag, and often a couple other kids as parents try to get everybody to sports stuff timely. She determined a Prius would never work. She was using $700 of gas a month, but couldn't make the other work.

I didn't get a lot done, but some work in the kitchen, some at my desk, some in the sewing room (it looks better in there). I'll just keep plugging away. I can definitely say I really feel a bit better with the B12. At least now I'm beginning to think more ambitious thoughts.

They're here! We just picked up the hens and they settled right in yea!
We got the feeder hung up, waterers got filled and ready to go before we picked up these hens. They were pampered have been to a vet and came from a nice area.

Tomorrow will be getting the light up, and h. is going to put the platform perch on the nest boxes. I'm sure the grandkids will be by to see them soon.

I had to bring paint in with the freeze warnings so checked the hens they were fine! Paint is inside now. Chicken feed is too deer will get in to it here if it is not secure so for now the kitchen looks like a farming one!

No idea how much to start feeding them will use a small size coffee can and see how that does. Neighbors have already been bringing over greens for 'em!

Okay I need to spiff the kitchen a bit. I did take out the trash this evening.

Sunny, As soon as I turned off the laptop, I microwaved a long tube of rice and wrapped it around my neck/shoulders, for 20 min. and it cured me a.s.a.p.! I feel much better.

Dee, I love stuffed pork chops! ♥ I made some for DH, while I was still a newlywed and was much more adventurous in the kitchen than I am now.

My ta da for afternoon/part of evening is:
- I heated a microwaveable rice thing, hung it around my neck to soothe it and it worked!
- I dried the laundry and put it away. Just 1 load today.
- I sorted and read the mail; got 2 letters.
- I planned dinner.
- I wrote a long letter to a long letter pen pal.
- I set my dawn simulator, got out a.m. clothes, floss....
- I tidied my office desk up. It was a mess again. It's easy to get that way too fast.

It continued to be a hard day here but I deleted my various posts about it. It does me good to "tell" you and then I don't need to bother you. I will call it a virtual wash of a day without progress, so it's all catch-up over the weekend now. I will take these 3 quotes I picked out from recent posts to heart and have a better feeling as I go to bed. Dd was so exhausted from trying to help she was asleep by 8:30 with her lights still on. So tomorrow, another day, we can awaken and have a fresh start. I have a 5x5 written, but/so am putting it out of my mind.
