Ssshhh, quiet, Kathryn is napping -I hope. I already did that for a short stint. For some reason I've developed a 'charlie-horse' in my right leg. Strange place for a cold to 'settle' so don't think it's that. Oh well, it too will pass.

Been sitting here trying to decide whether to go in to A T & T to see about their 'hot spot' again. Not sure I understand it all. Would like to get rid of our TW internet. Have to have it turned off here soon anyway. Need to put that on my to-do l&&t.

I'm acting like I have forever to get ready to close & it's really only 12-14 days. Is that somewhat like IGAD syndrome?

Maybe I couldn't have hens. I like them when they're laying but I don't think I could put them in the freezer.

So, we started out bright ad sunny, the a bit ago clouds came in and we're having a lot of grey skies and soaking rain. It's great.

I think I've used up all the excess energy I found this past sev. days. I woke up tired. I got my desk cleaned up, and the usual, meals, dishes, 1 LOL folded, but that's all. It's starting to look a little rough around the edges in here.

Kathryn - I hope you get a good nap.

(((Dee))) - I hope you feel better soon.

Nancy - Freezer Camp

Mystery - I thought that too but am trying to embrace my Southern Politeness and had to spin it politely. ;)

MT - Glad your settled.

All other Villagers - Howdy!

Went back to bed around 9 am and slept until 2, needed it but am going to hate it this evening when I have to go to bed because I have an early morning. I have managed to get some stuff done but need to get hopping and get my errands done. Need to run to the bank and then to Home Despots. DS19 pulled apart the faucet this weekend and put it back together but it still isn't working right. I am going to look at new ones but may try soaking the old one in CLR before I replace it. I of coarse also need to get a pane of glass to replace the window. Other than all that I'm going to focus on the 3 D's and homework and then call it good.

ToDo/TaDa

DS13 is making progress on the Disaster Area that he called a bedroom... not a great day home from school but I don't believe in making a "sick Day" fun.

Sitting in the car line -- had to go early enough that I could drop off the ticket order DD had left behind. Still not where I wanted to be by this point today, and sitting here won't help. Did not get the decluttering done or the flyers delivered before leaving, but I did finish the wash. It is raining here -- I hope it's not back at home; I really don't want to deliver flyers in the rain. :?

Is "Shemot" related to "shema," helia? If so, I imagine there's a big difference in translation right there.

Good luck finding the timers, Elizabeth. I hate when I do that. Is there one on the stove you can use?

"Freezer camp" makes me laugh, Nancy, if not the chickens (or Harmony).

Sweet dreams, Kathryn.

Dee, I'm using my phone as a hotspot to be able to post this right now. Is that the sort of thing you're talking about? Of course, this isn't A T & T, so I don't know how much help I'd be if it is.

Car line is moving -- see you later!

Yes, Mystery, I think it is. I was wondering how you were posting from your car. I was just thinking about this and wondering if all our devices will work off of it: computer, my k indle, dh's k indle fire, my phone & the wii (have netflix on that). Going to their site and see what I can discover.

Home for a WHOLE 18 minutes before leaving to pickup LO from school. DMom tests went well. DDad bounced back and is doing great now. When I left their home the Hospice Chaplin had just arrived to visit with them. He is wonderful and I know they will double bless each other.

No mayhem here please.

I just send an invite to DD to bring DGD1 and go trick-n-treating with her 3 brothers (DGS17, DGS15 and LO). I give it less than 1% chance my invite will be accepted, but there would be 0% chance if I didn't ask. ;)

While waiting in for DMom test to be finished I did some hand sewing on a few of LO clothes. I was surprised how many people came over (huge waiting room) and asked what I was making. If you want total strangers to strike up conversations with you - I can highly recommend having a needle and thread in your hand will do it. :D

Cooked up a big pan of turkey bacon in the oven. We'll use it for salads and sandwiches this week.

Cleaned toilets with P ine-Sol. Now the whole house smells fresh and clean. Nice to give that impression even if that's not exactly the case!

Should go color my hair--it's been over 4 months. Had to choose a new color (mine was discontinued). Getting tired of this sparkly brown hair. Time to go red again!

All the stuff in MH fridge moved and fridge turned off to defrost. One load of laundry done. Tried to go to HOA meeting but so much chit chat going on and chair so hard that we left after one hour.

Moved daybed to LR to serve as a couch. Moved chair to den if I want to watch TV in there while DH is in LR.

Time to find some lunch.

Will just putter for the rest of the day to conserve energy. Must plant some trees I have from friend's house in NM. They are desert willows and the flowers look like purple orchids.

I don't think so, Mystery, but I'm not 100% sure. Shema means listen and shemot is plural for name. Exodus starts out with a short list of names. . . . I wonder if Twins - or Mr. Twins could enlighten us more on why this book is called "names" in Hebrew?

I have pretty much finished all the Hebrew I think I'm going to do. I'll take a break - dgirls are arriving home. Then, I'll see if I can get something down re: my teaching.

Hello Villagers! :D Waving to all of you, too. ;)

I didn't write a to do, but am looking at my cards. My PODA so far is:
1- I started a load of delicate laundry, which is drying now, and I'm washing whites, socks, and underwear now. (Am tackling Mt. Washmore before a storm hits later today.)
2- I read my devotion, prayed, and wrote in my journal.
3- I set the dawn simulator and got out clothes.
4- I paid for a writer's workshop, which has been a goal and dream to do all year, when I first found out about the 2 offered together.
5- I emailed a DF about good luck on her Wed. surgery, sent her a card/letter, too.
6- I counted my 3 x 5's I currently use, which are 13, with a lot written on each card. Am considering seriously about writing white cards with duties, per zone, for our home.
7- I got another recipe posted at Debbie Macomber's website and I'm SO excited!
8- I put a new blue crocheted coaster under the powder room pump soap bottle because the red one was for something like July 4 or Memorial Day? :?: Blue are the colors of the towels in there. I got a new soap pump bottle out, too, because the red one's almost out.

To do:
1- Write a grocery list
2- Finish the laundry
3- Hand write on a story
4- Read
5- Crochet
6- Walk 1/2 hour
7- Sort the mail when it comes.
8- To put out "fires".
