I took an hour for a "toes up" when I got home, and I need to get rolling again. I just mixed up an iced coffee for a jump start.

Mammogram went fine, then I went by temple and signed letter and visited a bit, then had Subway lunch and voted. While I was at the election commission I also confirmed that dd is a registered voter (she hadn't received a voter registration card) and also found out, that because she registered by mail, she will need come home to vote by personal appearance.

This round:
-email info to dd with link to early voting times, locations and dates
-refill water for the "beast"
-call dmom about phone message that she has a virus
-vacuum hardwood floors
-clear kitchen counters

Up from my nap. Now I'm definitely behind on my schedule. I stayed down 15 minutes longer plus got to it 15 minutes late, plus took time for a snack now that I'm up.

Dh just got in from his errands so I put away the groceries.

Heavy Cleaning Day at my parents' house. Dstepsil and I both put in 4 straight hours without a break. It's not that we don't have housekeeping gaps but I do know where they are - towels washing, lightbulb changing, and swiffering one deep corner. The menfolk need to look at one toilet mechanism and scrape the driveway. Not going to rush HRH because it was hugely helpful to us that he stayed here for 4 hours, of course.

Dd had a good day at school and came home with a big smile on her face. She only has one more "midterm" to go and another tough P.E. day, and then the first quarter of high school is successfully under her belt.

Got my last list done, but it took me until 4. I'm not sure why. .. .I think I did some other odds and ends. Girls are home. They have too much hw and so are not going to youth group tonight. I still have not done yardwork!! I'm going for a jog now, however. I need it physically and emotionally. Tomorrow will also be nice weather-wise, but between moms group all morning and taking dd17 to Dr. appt. at 2 and getting ready for her (late) bday celebration tomorrow night, I'm not sure what sort of time I'll have. Ah, I am truly a SHE.

I'm having to vacuum because we are supposed to get sod in our back yard tomorrow, and yesterday they put a load of loose dirt on the back yard. The loose dirt seems to be trying to migrate inside via furry dog feet! Also made the call re: my mom's dr appointment and was able to get her in on Friday, which means I can look at her computer after the Dr appointment then.

From this morning:
PODA (Green = done!)
-get chairs painted through the second coat- about to do
-mammogram
-call for bath appt for Moe- about to do
-Bank
-groceries, including garbage bags for kitchen and paper towels -may be able to do later?
-call for appt for dmom
-write other temple letter, personalize and start printing - may be able to do later?
-vote early?
-What else?

Need to change clothes and get on with painting, needless to say, the back patio also has a lot of dirt tracked in.

Hi everyone! I got my friend to the hospital in another city yesterday. We got there on time and everything went well. I got lots of crochet done in the waiting room. While we waited for her prescriptions we did some shopping at the pharmacy. I bought my first Chrismas present for DD10. It was Girls' Night Out with DD and she immediately spotted the present, i thought I had hidden it well, guess not. After I got dFriend home, I had a little time before school was out so I updated Quicken. Then I picked up DD and we did the usual Chineses food + Chuck E Cheese. XDH has strep so DD stayed overnight with me. We had to ice some cupcakes for her girl scout party tonight. It also gave me an extra lunch to pack. I did manage to get her to school on time, with extra time so she could play. I did nothing on the job search or on party cleanup.

This afternoon, i have a parent teacher conference. I have Bible study at 6:15 and before that I am going to a tea party at a local business. They say to wear a hat, but I don't have one. Someone from the animal org is coming by to vax the foster cats. I think I will skip art class tomorrow in favor of clean up and decorating for the party. I don't have the pictures I want anyway. So much to do.

Twins' Mom, Thanks for reminding the vote early post because DH and I have our ballots and should vote early, too.

Helia, Sorry the girls are bogged down with a lot of hw they'll miss youth group. :( It's great you're going for a jog, too. :D I walked 30 min.

Harriet, It sounds like a lot of work you're all doing at your parents' house. Wow. :D

Kathryn, Glad you got your nap. Do you think you'll be able to catch up on your schedule before bedtime? :?:

OKay, How true about a jig and smile with a bit of silliness. We need that! :D Glad LO counselor appt. went well, too. :D

Elizabeth, It's so nice you took your friend to the hospital and got lots of crochet done, too. :D

I made 1 more Autumn card, wrote a letter with it, worked a bit on a story and my calendar, walked 30 min., and ate a healthy lunch. DH got a haircut and just took garbage up. He's bringing the mail in now.

TTFN! :D

Finished with second coat - may even need a third. :? Some areas just don't want to cover. Also hard to see where it doesn't cover because of glossy finish and glare from the sun.

Dh got home early. I seemed to have a low blood sugar or something and was suddenly starving and almost light headed, so I ate soup already. It's harder to keep working once he's underfoot.
