Okay, we also had a Christmas parade. All the Main St. lights were out except for the lights on various trees up and down Main. They did have a rope barrier to keep kids corralled. It seemed to work at least what we could see. Supposedly you are not suppose to throw candy but hand it out. Well several times candy was thrown our way and dgd19mos was smacked in the head.

It was so nice to just walk out of dd2 business and watch the parade. Then go back in where it was warm afterwards. The boys were riding a church float with their dad and his wife. The boys were paying attention and knew we would be out in front, so they waved to us. The JV cheerleaders also had a float. Varsity cheerleaders were cheering at the basketball game. Dd1 was suppose to dress as the HS mascot for the parade, but no one thought to get the costume for her. She was disappointed.
I finally finished decorating the dining room and living room today. Tonight I started on the tree downstairs. I ended up with a BS crash and decided to just rest. I can work on it again tomorrow. I had picked up supper on the way home from the parade. I thought I was close on the insulin dosage but I guess I worked harder than I planned and it led to the crash.
I would like to finish the downstairs tree tomorrow and clean the basement. Then I need to get started on cards. So far we have only received 2.
