Well, dh may have hit upon the reason for Maia's many accidents today. This is the first day she's had continual free access to lots of water. We moved Pepper's heavy ceramic bowl into the kitchen so Maia could drink from it too. Before today, she has had a small bowl of water, which she invariably dumped out several times/day. (Thus, the idea to give her access to Pepper's big bowl.) When we first got her, we followed the breeder's instructions to mix water into her dry dog food (1 to 1 ratio) to provide her water. That way, she wasn't spilling her water or needing to "go" all the time. I always gave her some additional water in a bowl, though; I just didn't want her to be dehydrated. We stopped mixing the food with water about a week ago; we could go back to it. Maia is 11 weeks old, so still quite young.

I have made dinner, eaten dinner, picked up dd14 from synchro, dealt with some moms group emails. I'm going to mobilize the troops here and get the kitchen cleaned up. Then, I can work on my resume. Dh is out listening to a talk by one of his friends.

(((Dee))) In a way, I'm glad you had that long drive with dh. It gives you some quantity time with him, with him less distracted than he would have been at home. I'm sorry you need to go through this worry. You've been through similar before, so know the drill but that doesn't make it any less worrisome. Feel free to share all you need to here.

No progress here. I turned on the hockey game. Now that the Penguins have scored 4 goals while I'm watching, I've turned it off. Ds is home, is showering and then heading to bed. I have a full day tomorrow and the next day so I need to concentrate on either writing, accounting or bed. I haven't even done any tidying.

[Sorry if it seems like I'm whining in this post.]
It's cold out today and breezy to cold for comfort w/ out a coat or jacket of some sort.

Dgson left his coat at school. He said his teacher lost her cool today. He was not very teachable and resisted doing jos homework after school here. His brain was already on summer break I think! LOL!

Then his mom tells me they are leaving early and working this weekend as well the other grandpa might be helping with dpa duty ~Sigh~ that complicates things he just lets them run wild stay up late and it's harder on the other grannys to get them back on track after he "helps".

I thought it was Thurs. and it's only Wed.
Tomorrow is dgds play date at school glad I don't have to do that as it's SO cold out not fun.

I've mopped up the spots on the traffic area in the kit. dining and hall waiting for that to dry. H. is home watching a movie "The Natural" with R. Redford in it now.

I'm going to go knit a few rows that might help.
