A few of the SHEs are really productive today!

Not me. Still struggling with data entry. Apparently I did none for the month of May. Makes sense. I was traveling, then scrambling to keep up with writing services and sermons.

I'm ready for a nap. Might take one even though I have no right to. No point forcing myself to sit here and be unproductive.

Semi-productive here.
x I have taken Lily to the ophthalmologist. I'll spare you details, unless you want to know. The good eye is now the main concern as its pressure is elevated, likely due to swelling and possibly infection behind it. The bb is lodged in the jaw bone behind the left eye. The right eye will have to go.
x lunch
x a.m routine, minus laundry and unloading dw
x phone calls to get Lily's meds amounts and frequencies straightened out
x post office box to put check for reeds for dd15 in the mail
x groc. store
x our vet's office to pick up the meds needed until her surgery on Monday
x organized meds into 3 ziplocs: 3x/day, 2x/day, and 1x/day
x emailed Hebrew teacher. I doubt I'm going to make it to class today.
x had dd17 do the after school meds (3x/day ones) with me, 2 different eye drops/ointments

Next:
- print out map for dd17 to trainers' place for puppy kindergarten class tonight with Maia
- pull the giant weeds in my flowers at the foot of the garden
- dust and vacuum play room to prep it for the meeting tonight
- start lol

((little kitty Lily)) My only question is : it is the good eye that gets to stay, right? And eventually the bb will be outta-there?

One of dd14's friend's mothers had to go to the school for several hours today so I took both girls home at 12:15. When the mother and HRH got home at the same time, she suggested I take a break with her and with the girls and go out to eat. So we had a taco at the nicer taco place. Ended up staying and talking too long, but it was nice. That doesn't get the work done, though. She still had grocery shopping to do when she left and it was starting to sprinkle.

Nancy, he might like to draw trucks, bulldozers, tractors, fire vehicles. Also adding the roads the vehicles are on, the landscape around them, etc. I hope he has fun with the new one.

Going to bed shortly. Dh is just getting ready to go take a shower. They gave him a kit to shower with tonight. I have tried to think of everything I need to do or take with me. I don't want to have to get anything out in the morning. I should be able to get ready rather quickly.
I even have everything out ready to test my BS first thing.

I just remembered I want to do dishes and wash my hair before I go to bed.

Thank you everyone for your sweet thoughts and prayers. If I can't get here tomorrow, I'll give Harriet a quick call and ask her to post for me when I know dh is A-ok.

((((Dee)))) You are continually in my thoughts and prayers.

Mowed the inside of the yard while DH took LO fishing. They came home with 4 large fish. Someone they were fishing near caught the fish and gave them to LO since he didn't catch anything. :)

I'm plum tuckered out. I spent a good portion of this morning doing work on computer (sitting). Fitbit says I'm took 6974 steps, but my body feels like I did more. I'm drinking a DPepsi trying to get some a caffeine boost. I'll get another couple thousand steps in doing MPB evening chores. I'll be close to 10,000 steps by the time I got to bed.

Just looked through today's mail and found letter in ref to uncashed check. I'll get that sent off before it gets buried among other papers.

Hello everyone. I cuop earlier today, but didn't have a chance to post. Dh decided he didn't want to stay home. We did need a few groceries and he wanted to walk the mall, so I went with him.

You all seem to have done more than I did today, but I did get some desk work done, organizing the bills for the month before our walk.

Dee, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Mr. Dee.

Lynlee, I'm glad you are starting to feel better. Stay warm!

Harriet, it's nice to hear you had a wonderful weekend with your dfamily.

Helia, I felt so sorry for dLily when I read what happened to her. It can be kind of a helpless feeling as we want to make things better for our pets as they can't reason the whys of things that happen; they just know they are hurting and unhappy! Hoping the vets can make things better for her.

Dh just went back to bed, but I'm not sleepy enough yet and I still have to let ddogs out for their last walk around the back yard.

Yes, Harriet, the good eye, the left one, will hopefully stay. That is why its increased pressure is of such great concern; if the pressure behind it gets too great and it ruptures or whatever, Lily will have no eyes at all. . . . Not sure what we would do in that situation, but we are really praying we will not be in that situation. Actually, the best-case scenario would have the bb staying in. I guess that is common practice; the animal's body will adjust to it, as long as it isn't causing great pain - or infection. If the swelling and eye pressure increase, then the surgery may very well involve the bb's removal. And another vet surgeon. And a lot more $$, I'm sure. . . .

Back from dinner with my steering committee. i did not get to Hebrew.

I feel like my hands are tied right now; i can't gas the van b/c the latch to the tank is broken. I think dh filled it last, and he's in the meeting now. I can't do laundry b/c of the meeting going on downstairs across the hall from the laundry room. I'm really not happy he decided to host this meeting here this evening. I can't pick up dd17's script b/c she never gave me the empty bottle with the number. The pharmacy might have it, actually, but they're closing in 8 minutes. . . I guess i can work on a chart of Lily's meds for the kids.

Before I go to bed, I need to get a load of whites done and the kid chart made up. And I need to supervise the kids doing Lily's night time meds, just her 3x/day ones so not much.

helia, she's so lucky to have people who notice and care that she's in pain. But what a situation.

Like Sunny and helia, we had last-of-the-night chores, getting the hens battened down for the night and of course the Evening Dailies. I was exercising and nearly forgot I'd left a few things to soak and never gotten back to start the dishwasher. I'm so glad I came back out into the kitchen. Dd14 found a pretty good site for taking pretend higher math tests, and did that up until 9:30. She wasn't able to study with the other girls today, so that served as a refresher.

Sounds like you are ready and prepared, Dee. All best wishes.

One of those pet shows a cat that was obnoxious had vision problems and they were able to get it calmed down.

Very productive here today last load of laundry is ready to fold, I did the floors up stairs in the main part of the house, mowed, pruned roses, and picked up odds and ends from after the camper and it's better looking now.

So happy to see that the chickens like to eat morning glory yea!
