My friend wrote back that October 27th won't work because he'll be distracted with his church's anniversary Sunday. I don't have another date in sight. Sigh....
BTW: looks like I'm going to Santa Fe, NM because New Zealand is now canceled. I'm going with dh because he doesn't want to go to this meeting.
Looking at how far it is to the nearest SHE. Looks like 8 hours.

Re: Wednesday Wondering
*phew* One of those days.
x had dh scan paperwork for moms group child care position applications. It didn't get done last night since he got back a little before midnight last night
x coffee w/ dfriend this a.m.
x lunch and devo time
x start crockpot
x cleaned up kitchen
x phone call - yes, teen in one class is well under 18 so I do need to have 2 adults in there. We are overstaffed by one teen then. . .
x email required paperwork + general info to Univ. students interested in helping in child care at moms group
x wrap gift for dmom and write a card
x finalize groc. list for dinner party tomorrow night
x postal place to mail gift
x groc. store - unpack
x other band parent stopped by with labels for reserved tags for concert uniforms; she chatted briefly
x emailed church secretary re: brunch rooms tomorrow
x prepped sweet potatoes and put them in the oven; unfortunately, they made a mess on the bottom of my oven
x started rice cooker w/ delay
x met dfriend B on campus to watch a perfectly delightfully brainless movie - Austenland. We both found it very funny! She was the perfect one for me to see it with and vice versa. . . .
x stopped by little middle eastern eatery next door for quick chicken shwarma sandwiches
x to church for deacon training meeting, 7 - 8:30
x set up things for the 2 children's classrooms w/ curriculum (3s and 4s/5s) for tomorrow. I think I need one more thing for tomorrow if the crafts person remembers the memory verses for the 4s/5s. Otherwise, I need 2 more things. I also picked up the stack of binders full of 2nd semester curricula that the previous coordinator had left out for me. I left the bin full of 2nd semester craft supplies since it is large and unwieldly - and heavy. I'll plan to bring it home tomorrow.
x HOME. .. .
x emailed the univ. students to tell them it was too late for me to get their rides organized for tomorrow; they can start next week. Most won't have their paperwork filled out anyway, a minimum requirement. We can run the background check while they're working for us. . .
I'm going to order a carton of coffee from caribou for tomorrow and then be done with this day. Ordering coffee helps as I will be in child care tomorrow so we don't need to pull from the moms. I can't make multiple pots of coffee if I'm holding babies in the nursery. . .
Today, I stayed on task pretty well, but i still didn't have time to exercise. If I had gotten up earlier, like 7, I would have had time. I didn't finish my a.m. routine either. Tomorrow will be busy too, but I may have more time in the afternoon.
I'll get up early to prep fruit for the brunch.

Helia, Do you wear a cape, which says "Super-SHE" on it?
WOW! You got an awful lot done today! WTG! You must be young with a lot of energy! You can send me some, okay?
I wanted to say there are some downloadable nice Autumn stationery patterns at http://www.susanbranch.com
I believe you need to look under "Willard" where Susan Branch has her "free stuff" in stationery, bookmarks, and gift tags. The stationery can also be PDF if you can do that. There are:
1- A checkered border with an apple crisp recipe on it
2- A back-to-school owl with some writing of back-to-school memories by Susan Branch on it
3- An Autumn leaves 4-border stationery with a quote all around the four leaf borders, too.
It's great she offers these for free.
I'm going to run and look at my 3 x 5's for my nighttime routine now.
And then look at CEO's book about the on-going master list she talks about in her first edition of her book, "House Works."
